Sent them an email to inquire about service in my area. After a couple of days finally received a phone call. tried to ask questions about service, speeds and future improvements and the person on he other line was extremely frustrated that I was asking questions and provided nothing but a horrible attitude. While the pricing might be lower, I would rather pay more money and receive better customer service. this is the 3rd time i attempted to contact them and the 1st time to receive a call back. DO NOT waste your time with them.
Constant issues. Merged with citylink yet still same high price. Promised updates to network pre cov19 never completed. No replies to any tech issue calls. Even to our business.
Contacted their service dept starting the 7th of March. After multiple calls over the next week and finally getting through was told by service that just wait and theyd get to it. After over a week of no service I cancelled on March 17th 2020. Was told they wanted payment for service. fir April which I didnt pay as I was paid through the end of March! Since cancelling and physically disconnectingI have continued to receive bills each month(2 total) through today(bill for May 2020) and they continue to up the amount I owe. This is an unscrupulous company that is bad on product, extremely bad on service and has no clue on billing especially on a closed account. Stay Far Far Far away from this company. A rip off scamming company
Beware of Road Runner Wireless, they are absolutely dreadful. I wanted to use a local company because I was tired of Comcast and Century Link, but they were 10 times worse. They promised I would receive five megs and I never received more than one meg. They removed their equipment and took the modem I bought outright and promised to refund my money and never have. Brandon kept saying he had to send the check, but was waiting on his boss, but they never sent it. Stay away, this company is pure trash!!!
When it works it is ok... not very speedy but ok. When it isnt working, good luck getting ahold of anyone to answer the phone... at any extension. They also apparently dont answer the phone on weekends.Update... when I called to cancel service they said they needed 30 days notice and since I only gave 10 days notice they would bill me the additional 20 days. I had a lot of difficulty getting through to them on the phone but had left the 2 detailed messages asking to cancel before I actually got someone on the phone. They had no record of my calls.
The absolutely most unprofessional outdated uneducated Internet providers i have EVER heard of🤦. Internet boxes are older then the town itself of Rio Rancho. This company is merging into a different company because the here management is failing. Id never EVER recommend them to ANYone. Im pretty easy to get along with but not today and not with them bunch of liars. They cant tell the truth to save their teeth.Also i was told they couldnt come fix the internet at my house because Im moving next week. Thats isnt any if their concern. They are to fix the problem that they are under contract for and not worry about the rest.
I work for an after school program out on the mesa and Roadrunner is the only isp that is available out here. Our bosses called to fix our internet, but they were told that it would be a waste of time to come all the way over here. We dont have cellphone reception and we need to use wi-fi to make phone calls. If a kid gets hurt or we have another emergency, not having internet could cost us greatly.
Its lousy. Youre better off using your phone as a hotspot.
I honestly wouldnt recommend this company to anybody their customer service is shity .
