From a Employee perspective this organization is great. If you are seeking real support, autonomy, and enjoy helping others this is that place. Honestly, be prepared for a challenging opportunity where skills will be tested, grown, and applied. To sum it up the owners care, staff are passionate, and supporting clients is paramount.

The counselor I had was wonderful. Counseling World as a company is awful. Their offices are disgusting and gross. It dirty and disorganized. But the worst part is that I have not seen one of their therapists in a year and a half. I have medical insurance that was billed and paid out. I paid my co-pay at every session. Yet now, a year and a half later, with no phone calls, no letters, no bills Im being sent to collection for over $2,000!!! I never pay bills late, EVER! They will not return my phone calls and my old counselor doesnt work there anymore. Horrible company if they cant keep their finances and accounting practices straight.

Unfortunately I have to leave one star. I was referred here by my daughters school I told them I was unable to make an appointment on such a short notice and then was threatened with a call to CYFD from Ashley whom works the front desk. She was very unprofessional.

Unfortunately I have to leave one star I came to San Pedro location with my partner seeking couples counseling, the two front female personnel were very unprofessional, I asked what the process was after filling out intake packet the women responded “I don’t know, it’s my second day” shrugs and walks away I felt unwelcome and unheard the atmosphere is cold and seems like nobody knows what’s going on or can’t point you in the any direction of someone who does.

The councilor was wonderful.
