I sent an email 4 days ago, no reply. I called..everyone is working remotely, which is fine. I called the extension given, and got the message that the mailbox is full and I cant leave a message. This is a business, and I would expect better.
Run. Run far, run fast, just RUN. Ive been trying to apply to jobs through Kelly since 12/19/2019 and to this date (8/11/2020) its been impossible due to website failures, disconnected phones, closed offices, unresponsive recruiters, perpetual voicemail, and a tech support team relegated to answering every request for help with Its a known defect and it should be fixed with the next update. Kelly also creates fake recruiters and fake job postings to test the response rate to various job boards like ZipRecruiter. You can waste a lot of time trying to present yourself for a job youre highly qualified for. But Kelly doesnt care. Goodness only knows how theyre still in business.
Ive been working with Kelly since January, its September now. They had a FANTASTIC talent coordinator, her name was Chelsi. She took care of anything you can imagine. She was responsive and kind, and if there was an error she got it fixed. Well, Chelsi is no longer with Kelly. Ive been dealing with Payroll.Payroll isnt exactly NICE about things. I get it, theres a huge influx of people trying to talk to them. But they cancelled an assignment I was promised. The woman on the phone treated me like it was my fault until I basically told her if they couldnt find me an assignment, they would need to pay me for the time of the assignment they stole from me. I had been given that assignment and had been on the long term sub bus/train/boat for MONTHS.Numerous payroll and check inconsistencies. I have to watch my checks like a hawk... Which is fine. But Payroll gets grouchy when you question them. We used to get paid for school holidays, well apparently that isnt a thing anymore and no one said a thing.The training to become a sub is very flimsy and you have to demand spec ed training, well all APS Gen Ed classes have Spec Ed students! So essentially, you end up working with Spec Ed students (which is fine) but you dont get paid extra for doing it and you dont know how to even deal with some of the issues because some of it is just way above your paygrade. Ive had a spec ed student attack me, so...Anyway, they dont answer their voice mails unless you practically yell at them. They dont answer their emails.Well, Im at a long term post, and because they never verified my assignment/post with the APS school system, I cant even access student/parent info, cant take attendance, cant log grades (another thing subs are not supposed to do, but youll be wrangled into doing it). The distance learning training? They either made me MISS the training... Or they just didnt have it.We have a time limit of 7.5 hours a day and cannot exceed that without prior permission... Well I have to generate the whole curriculum (again not something I should be doing, but I have to), grade everything, call parents of students... I have like 170 students! I need all the time I can get...I MISS CHELSI. I love teaching, but as soon as I possibly can, Im switching to the Rio Rancho school district. I have an easier time tutoring on the side...
Very impressed with the staff here! I was referred to Kelly by a friend who gave an amazing review regarding Cristal. From speaking with her over the phone and interviewing with her, she is the ideal recruiter you would want to have to assist you in not only finding a job but a career. My friend was recently hired through the customer and that is all thanks to Cristal! She was very good at keeping you in the loop. I have worked with other agencies who I have to keep calling to get updates. I really recommend her to anyone who is seeking work!!!!
So far Kelly services seems unable to deal with the details that were so easily handled by the APS staff. Phone numbers do not work. Cannot reach anybody to solve the simplest problem. First two regular paychecks are wrong. They did not pay the proper amount for the half day pay. And did not pay the extra $10 dollars for a full day in special ed class. These are things they explained in the meeting we had. And you cannot reach someone to fix these things.
They found me a job very quickly and always get back to you right away. Highly recommended them if youre needing help finding a job. The new team is so helpful. Overall a very good experience.

Ive been a substitute teacher for seven years. Since Kelly took over my assignments have been cancelled by them twice. The phone numbers they gave in the Substitute Employee Reference Guide are no longer in service. I finally found a number, but there is no one at the desk. They keep calling me for jobs, but then cancel them. Today they e-mailed me saying if a job was cancelled to disregard, because their system is down. Im wondering what will happen when payroll comes around. What a mess this is. Why did APS do this??!!!
They do not respond to phone calls or emails. I shouldnt have to drive all the way across town to ask a quick question.
Horrible service. Does not return phone calls. Makes promises they do not keep. Do not help you in any way whatsoever. Recommend you avoid them and try someone else.
Very please with my experience here. cristal and valerie have been good at offering temp work since i was only in the area for awhile. was reading comments below on the neg reviews on her and im sure it becuase they were not good emplyees so they want to complain . i work in MI where you would find alot of lazy workers. im happy they worked excellent for me in my need for work.when i come down again ill be working with them again
