Fantastic!I brought in an early 60s Motorola cabinet stereo with record player. Jack was able to refurbish the components, replacing tubes, even having a one of a kind switch fabricated so that my unit works like new!Because of the scale of the project, the process took a few weeks. Robert kept me up to date every step of the way. Outstanding service.Seems they have a backlog of work in their shop. Thats because theyre good. I found the pricing reasonable. There is some specialized knowledge and skill involved in this kind of work, thats worth something.Overall very happy with my experience.

Brought Budget a TEAC a-2300sx, they charged me almost $300. They said it was repaired but when I got it home It was not repaired and after I did online research I realized the play head was completely wasted away. Budget gave me a refund less the $75 service charge. How can a repair shop not know the heads were ruined? Sent deck to a real technician in GA and he completely restored the unit. It plays wonderfully now. Budget said if they find heads for it they would install them for free. Needless to say they never called me back. Maybe they can fix your TV but they know nothing about reel to reel tape decks!! Be warned!

Budget TV & Electronics did an amazing job fixing a cracked circuit board in our Harman/Kardon HK740 phono receiver. Throughout the process, they answered my (many) questions and communicated the needed repairs at each step. They also went above and beyond to retrofit this piece to our new turntable to clear up an issue with the grounding wire. Definitely would recommend their business and expertise to anyone.

I took in my turntable from the 50s and they repaired the issue and gave it the works tune up on top of that! What an unexpected surprise!! Now my record player sounds too notch and I’m super happy! The service was excellent and they really seemed to like what they were doing! Fun!

They got my old 70s Pioneer record player back in order in just a couple of days, Good as new. They had it back to me faster and cheaper than quoted. Would trust them with any of my electronics.

I brought in my vintage Sansui 2000 receiver from 1969. They did a complete overhaul and restored it to factory specs. It looks and sounds amazing. I am going to bring my AR-5 speakers in for an overhaul.

Had a great experience with them. They fixed my Mothers 1966 GE Solid state steroid 600 record player, when others just told me to get a new record player. They fixed it to a T! It had a few problems and was getting it fixed for my mother for Christmas she wanted her vintage player not a new one. After they worked on it sounds like new. Very pleased but my mom was extremely happy with it fixed. Very friendly service and got the job done right. Will definitely recommend these guys and will go back when I need anything done for my electronics in the future.

Very disappointed - he wouldnt accept a credit card because HE didnt want to be charged the processing fee but then HE charged $5 for an unnecessary plastic barrier that I DIDNT ask for! I feel taken advantage of after being overcharged for a simple request: $59 to remove a stuck dvd.

I like old things, and there are few places that are comfortable and competent in dealing with older things that need repair. Budget TV has been exceptionally kind and patient with me every time I have dealt with them. They initially repaired a vacuum tube car radio for me, and have been willing to answer questions and help me out with it and other electrical issues related to it ever since. They even walked me through how to test my antenna to see if it was connected properly over the phone, which was completely beyond the call of duty. Shops like this are rare and valuable, and I will always go back to them whenever the need arises. Awesome shop.

I have a 65 Mitsubishi 1080p TV. The bulb went out. I googled how to remove and also where to buy one in Albuquerque. They were open till 6 wich was great because it was 5 at the time. The gentleman I spoke to was named Robert he checked and had the bulb I needed we made it there in time he cleaned the housing and gave me a good price and I got home and installed the new bulb. This place repaired a tv for me. It is still working nicely. Now, I turned in a DVD player which was ordered in a catalogue book but the surround speakers were already not working. I can’t wait for them to fix it.

Exceptional! They asked appropriate questions when I called, to determine what could be wrong with my TV, and they were right on! They dont do in-home repairs, but as I am an elderly woman, they came right out and diagnosed the likely problem. They took the device to their shop, where they confirmed the diagnosis, and ordered a new video board. Once the part was received, they completed the repair quickly, and called to set up a time to return the device. They brought it back, re-installed it, and spent some time making sure everything was perfect, and incidentally gave me some advice on the settings to maximize the screens life. I will definitely always call them for any electronics repairs!

Recently returning to vinyl records - I purchased an integrated record player 8 track radio combination. Could not be more pleased... great, friendly service.Took them a high end stereo tube amp for repair...based on reviews here. To my delight they were familiar with the circuit design and clearly had old school experience to work on equipment like this (i.e troubleshoot and component level repair... rather than module replacement).Now that I know that I have these guys to turn to...will not dread the idea of breakdown and having to ship heavy/delicate equipment for competent service.Bottom Line: Superb, knowledgable service at a reasonable price!

Update: I never brought a T.V. to you, it was a stereo receiver, and as far as my reviews go, for me no news is good news.How this place has good reviews is beyond me. 4 screws missing and its too far taken apart to do anything? Have been taking our TVs to get repaired by then excellent service and repairs. But when I called to see the status on my tv he felt like he could talk to me like a child, so go in to ask questions otherwise expect to feel like an idiot asking simple questions over the phone. Of course he has experience with TVs but id have to say different with his experience with people.

I have utilized Budget TV for several years after a competitor told me my electronic item could not be fixed....Budget fixed it and for a very reasonable price. Yesterday I was in the area with an antique metal toy that needed mending and stopped in to ask about who might be able to fix it. Jack and company took it back in the shop and brought it back a few minutes later all mended...I was stunned and surprised...I asked how much and he would only take a hug....they are my guys forever as far as I am concerned and they all are dedicated to cheerful customer service and huge plus in my book.

I had a Sony Flat Screen TV that had an power issue. The TV would turn off at will, after being on for a period of time. The warranty was running very close and it could have went either way. Jack the owner of the business, went above and beyond duty by calling both the warranty company, as well as Sony. Through his persistence the issue was covered under warrranty. I would highly recommend Jack and his company at Budget TV!!!

They did repairs on my 50 in. LG in Nov 2017 and then 5 months later the back light gives out again. Their response was the warranty is only good for 3 months, bring it in again.

After running a U-tube diagnosis, I ordered the board that was signaled as being bad. I live in Albuquerque so I called and was going to go by their shop and pick up the part. After talking to Jeff, he said I had ordered the wrong part and gave me right board number. He refunded my purchase price for the first board and when I went by their shop the part was ready for pick up. I installed the new board in about 30 minutes and now the TV works as good as new. 06/25/2014 I have had my Vizio 50 for 2.5 years without any problems until I moved. A week ago, I tried to remove the coax cable from the TV only to have the connector twist off in my hand! I called Budget TV and spoke with the owner who was educated and polite. He gave me his hours and said anytime was fine. I took it in the next morning. Although the shop was busy, he already knew the two possible outcomes for such a repair and quoted me on both. Two business days later I received a call to pick up the repaired TV. The price was very close to the other four places I called to get a ballpark price for such a repair! I would recommend Budget TV to anyone who wants a fair price, good work and fast turn around!

To start, the owner helped me by carrying my flat screen tv into his shop, which was much appreciated.. After a description of the problem, he quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected it within about 15 minutes. He explained that it was actually a simple problem. When I asked for a bill, he said no charge, explaining that it was too simple of a fix. Simple to him - technically puzzling to anyone else. He is obviously not only very competent in his field, but also very honorable and ethical as well! I will definitely bring my business here in the future and I highly recommend the services of Budget TV to others as well.

Got Budget TVs number from Electronics Parts store. I had a program selector pc board from a musical roland synth that had two cracks in it that also damaged several small traces on the board. It had been repaired before by a Roland repair shop and not done properly. Jack knew exactly how to approach the repair and fix it for good. Price was very good and turnaround time was even better! The Point is Jack can repair allot more that TVs and radios and the like. If you cant find a place to fix a board from even a computer or other devices it may be a good time to call Budget TV Electronics Repair!

I took a 55 inch samsung plasma that was shutting off and back on intermittently for about a year to budget tv.These guys were really backed up because of the holidays, but when they were able to get to it, they diagnosed the issue quickly.Once the parts came in, the tv was up and running within hours.The guys are friendly and knowledgeable, and really interesting to talk to....just dont take them away from their work for too long!!!My tv now works great with no issues.I wonder how many people get rid of televisions without knowing these guys can (generally...I would imaging 90% of the time) repair the television.Dont hesitate to bring your tv to these guys, and have patience, they will fix it right.
