Rich fit me in right away even though I dropped in with no appointment. This was my first time to a barber since Im a long haired lady but I shave and like designs on the side of my head and he made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Used his barber skills to give me a perfect clean fade and sharp design but made sure it was still feminine and that I was comfortable with every step. He explained what he was doing along the way and was also super chill and friendly. We had a nice conversation and he was speedy. Legit, a good experience all around. You can tell he cares about his work and his customers. Will totally be back.

Great experience at Goodfellas, got a same day appointment and even changed the time last minute and they fit me in. Rich is a mad beard scientist! Ive had my beard trimmed at multiple places in town and nobody, NOBODY hacks out my beard like Rich. This man gives a damn about your beard. Your vision is his vision and by the time hes done you want him to be happy with it because you were happy with it a half an hour ago. His bar is way above yours. Worth the time. Worth the money.....and he under charges. Become a regular before he figures out what he is worth!

Hands down the best barber Ive ever been to, and that covers more years that Id care to think about. Rich has a great group of barbers working there. They have incredible attention to detail, take a lot of time to listen to exactly what you want, and then deliver with a better attitude than you have any right to expect from a barber. Seriously. Rich is a perfectionist -- which is to say that you cannot crawl out of the chair until he is happy with your cut, and he is more picky than I am about the results. All of that comes at a great price and with friendly service. Dont be turned off by the number of people waiting when you try them out, as I almost did. The wait is worth the results. Highly recommended.

Great Experience.I got a haircut, beard trim and shave for a reasonable price. My barber was Rich, the owner, who typically handles appointments while the other barbers handle the walk-ins. The lines were straight and clean, and my shave was close. The conversation was good and I got along with everyone. This was my first trip so I cant speak to their skills, but I could tell they take their craft serious just by watching. My wait was long, but I realized thats because they take their time to get it right.

My friend got his hair n beard trimmed here and his hair is uneven as wellas his beard underneath on the neck the line is completely crooked and it looked terrible after he went home and showered. He had to pay someone else to.fix it. If youre gonna be a small business in Albuquerque you should honor your clientele and at least try to render a dissatisfied customers issues every customer should walk out of your business happy and better.than came in.

Got cut super clean

The haircut and beard trim were outstanding. I was uncomfortable for the adult conversations and adult language that were taking place between the staff, especially in front of my 12-yr old son.

I walked in at 10am on a Tuesday was immediately seated and Walter started on my hair. He knew what he was doing and gave me a high quality haircut in no time at all. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning.

I have been going to Goodfellas for over a year. I moved to ABQ in March of 2015 and did not get my haircut until I went back to my home town in July! I found Goodfellas shortly after thanks to my two good friends Mike and Sal who are regulars there. No one else has touched my hair since! They can do it all, the right way, the first time. Price is awesome, I always tip because they go above and beyond. Excellent service, stand-up gentleman working the place. Kid friendly!

This place used to be so good but over the last couple of years I have gotten very inconsistent hair cuts, I get my hair cut by Daniel and some times he does absolutely great work, however unfortunately the last few times I have gone to him he does very inconsistent work i even messaged him asking if he could fix his work and he never responded with a time to go in, they used to only charge 15 bucks for a cut and then went to 20 and now it was 25! Now dont get me wrong ill pay 25 bucks for a gair cut if its good but the craftsmanship has gone down so much on daniels end I have had other barbers cut my hair here however they are no longer here I have never gotten my hair cut by rich I believe he is the owner my cousins and a couple of buddies go to him and they love him so if youre gonna go here see if you can get rich i have never gotten the chance to get a cut by him because hes appointment only i have given Daniel more than enough chances to redeem himself but at this point its sad to say that he has lost his touch. The atmosphere here is good they guys are definitely good buddies so there is a nice family dynamic instead of a corporate feel but sadly thats not enough to justify poor work.

Terrible service, refused to listen to what the client wants for their cut,and only seem to care about pushing their religious beliefs on you.bad, bad, bad business.I do not have any problem with what someone believes, but if a guest is coming in for a haircut, do not ever ask them if they believe in god. Stick to the haircut, making sure its coming out well, making sure the client is satisfied with the cut, even casual conversation is completely perfect, instead of using all of your energy into converting every customer who comes in.That could all be mostly ignored if the haircut itself was good,but no, the barber did absolutely nothing that I had requested.Look, the staff was overall pretty friendly, but as far as a haircut goes, and the business of a barbershop goes, theyre completely terrible.Definitely will not come back again.

Google says it’s walk ins only, but if you walk in you’ll be pushed to the back of the line so appointments can go first no matter how long you wait. Nobody even acknowledges you, this is clearly a closed off community and any new customers are not welcome
