Alison is a true master. She not only gave me a great haircut but took the time to ask and figure out what would work best for my specific hair characteristics and styling preferences. I am used to going in and getting whatever the barber does, with a little guidance, but Alison gave me input and really helped me feel like I was making the best decision for me. Definitely will be going back!

Ive been getting my hair cut by Alison for several months now. She is the coolest barber ever! She is super friendly and easy to talk to. I never styled my hair until I came to her. I didnt quite know what to ask for but she gave suggestions and made me feel comfortable. Her cuts come complete with a scalp massage and straight razor shave on the back of your neck. Easily the best haircuts I have ever had.

Hurried, headstrong, and overconfident in her skills, Allison quickly dismissed the haircut pic I had been using for the last five years and started hacking away big swaths of hair. Even though the picture was of me she kept referring to the person in this picture and that this persons bone structure was completely different... Again, it was a picture of me. Needless to say the result was a rushed hackjob.

You know the saying about how some dogs don’t know how good they have it, but dogs from shelters do know and appreciate more? Well this past week I became a shelter dog.I have been going to Alison for a few years and have always been more than satisfied with her. She’s professional, has great conversation, and does amazing work. I live way over on the west side, so for one appointment I tried going somewhere closer to my house.Biggest mistake ever.I now know how good I had things with Alison and realize I took it for granted. She had to fix a mess of a haircut from the other place I went to, so I will be sticking with her from here on out. It’s definitely worth the drive, I promise! This dog has found his way home. 🐕

Ive been a regular of hers for about the past four years while she worked for another mens salon thats part of a chain; only recently did she open up her own private salon, so of course I followed her! I got my hair cut for the first time at her new location yesterday and it is one of the nicest and cleanest salons Ive set foot in.

Alison has been my barber fof years. I go to her because she knows her craft and genuinely enjoys her work. She is friendly, never failing to offer a warm smile and talking with her during the haircut never feels forced or awkward. I always gets the sense she actually cares about my life and she is fiercely loyal jokingly offering bad haircuts to those in my life who I have felt have wronged me. Ultimately when I see Alison its not going to get my hair cut, its going to see a good friend who happens to cut my hair.

Alison is the best barber I have ever been to, hands down! Her haircuts are fantastic, they keep you looking good even if (like me) you arent consistent going every 3-4 weeks.Her new location is really nice and since its her own place, you get a great personalized 1-on-1 haircut with a badass barber. Dont expect to know more than her about Game of Thrones though, shell dish out some serious knowledge. 10/10, would buy from again.

Professional, timely, and friendly service. Never have I been dissapointed with my visits to Alison. One of those barbers you want to see again and again.

For years I have been trying to find the right barber, and I always felt like there was something missing. My hair was shorter, but I never thought that my barber and I could work together to find out what worked well for me. I had tried to ask their advice, but it never really worked. And then, about a year ago, I happened into Alisons chair. Its a simple question, but I had never before been asked what my goal was, rather than just the technical details of my trim. She helped me understand what to look at when I was looking at different styles, and once we got comfortable with each other, weve been able to bounce ideas off each other and come up with great styles which hit exactly what I wanted, but never knew how to describe. She is THE BEST barber that I have ever visited, and if she can do this with this introverted computer programmer, she can do wonders for you too.

Alison is a terrific barber, in addition to her outstanding talent at keeping us scruffly men presentable, she is always a pleasure to be around. Her chair side manner is why I wont go anywhere else!
