Take a class!!!! The vibes are killer, everyone is so so supportive. The teachers watch out for you. The studio is nice and clean and really cool. You won’t regret it.
This isn’t a bad place, they just really need to work on a few things. One being punctuality. There are only a few who have key access to the building so most of the time everyone is standing outside waiting anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes past the start time of the class for the person with the key because they are late and aren’t on site and ready to go before the start time of the classes. If you have work or anything important going on after and are expecting class to start and end at the time specified think again, you’re basically S.O.L. Professionally and reasonably things should be open and ready to go 15 minutes prior to class start times. The major thing that I believe is a setback for this place is there really aren’t any true beginner classes for those who have a genuine desire to learn but need a little bit of foundation to help get them started. Not a lot just some guidance through it. Learning choreography isn’t easy especially as a first timer. Songs aren’t slow and so help would be nice. They do label a few of the classes “beginner” friendly but they are fast paced and there are people who are intermediate and advanced attending these “beginner” classes so they move along fairly quick. If this is your first time dancing no one is going to see you as a new student and help you out at all with learning of the choreography. They will move along and even if they see that you’re not getting it they still have you dance in small groups in front of the class as well as record it for Instagram. There’s no catering to new people that’s just how it is I’m not sure why. Other than that it’s a nice studio room and they are talented people. It’s a shame for first timers. We went with a group of 5 all first timers to two different “beginner” classes and were a bit lost trying to get the moves down and no one reached out to help or slow down. If you want to learn you may need to seek one on one coaching if that’s something you can afford. Unfortunately we weren’t encouraged to continue going as we felt lost and out of place. It’s a bummer because we were all very excited and thought this would become a new weekly hobby for us.
Fish and chips very good. Service was great.
My daughter has been taking classes here for a few months with both Lex and Shane. She has grown tremendously as a dancer. She goes to a performing arts school and she got into Advanced Hip Hop IV as a freshman next school year. This is a phenomenal for a student this young. Thank you Vibes for helping her achieve this! Much love.
This studio is fantastic! Though the entrance is a little funny since its in an office building and they are new, theyve set up an incredible studio fully equipped with lights, sound system, and an ABQ view! Highly recommended for especially commercial dance classes (hip hop/ breaking/ heels/contemporary). They bring in fantastic new teachers all the time, and the owners are truly wonderful humans!
What a fun spot for dancing! Its great to just be able to organize your own party here.
A very nice space, welcoming environment & great people, especially the owners!
It was so much fun the dance classes are amazing
A good range of dance classes and a welcoming environment.
