We drove 2.5 hours to Wuerflein to look at a specific vehicle. When we arrived, we were greeted by Craig Anderson who was upfront with us about that particular vehichle lacking specific features. Since we had just drove 2.5 hours, we were determined to leave the dealership with a truck that met our needs. Craig was very helpful finding something that had the specific features we were looking for. Everyone working that day was super polite and really helpful and we were able to drive away with a brand new truck that fit into our budget.

I scheduled an oil change at this location last January. I had moved to the Twin Cities last August, and purchased a car from Vern Eide. As part of their tire program, I had to have my oil change done at one of their service centers, and this location was the closest to me. After my oil change,I decided that it wasnt really worth the 4hr drive for average service and the overall cost of driving back and forth for a basic oil change. Therefore, I chose to schedule my next oil change at a location within the Twin Cities (Roseville Ford).The last month or so, my car was making this scraping sound which I thought maybe was a loose belt on the engine after a recent blizzard or from winter weather driving. However, the mechanic informed me that the screws on my skid plate were not properly screwed back on/NOT SCREWED ON AT ALL from a previous oil change (which was done by this location, Chevy of Albert Lea), and this was the source of noise. Due to this error, my skid plate was damaged and it needed to be replaced. I was quoted about $300 to repair the skid plate (with labor), so, I had to call Chevy of Albert Lea to discuss this problem.It took over a week and 4-5 phone calls to come up with a plan to fix this mistake, AND I had to make another 4 hr trip to Albert Lea on my day off (I work 3 jobs, so trying to find free time is difficult and a hassle).Even though I appreciate that they repaired the damaged part, at no point did anyone ever apologize nor acknowledge the mistake that was made (hence why Im giving 2 stars versus 1).It also made the 4hr drive and gas money spent on a 15 minute service even more ridiculous.Two of the three jobs I work at involve customer service, and I know from my personal work experience that this isnt how this situation should have been handled. I cannot recommend this service department, nor do I plan on ever returning here again.

I always recommend Chevrolet of Albert Lea when I hear someone say they are looking for a new car. It is hard to find a dealership that has a friendly and trustworthy sales team along with a great service department. This time there was a computer glitch and my appointment was not listed for my oil change and tire rotation AND they were short staffed but they still managed to get me in and out of there within a half hour. EXCELLENT.

Time to find another Chevrolet dealership. Had my truck in for an Allison spin on filter, fuel filter, tire sensor and rear license plate bulbs. I was going to do the bulbs myself, but just forgot and asked them to do it - BIG MISTAKE! Normal dealer charges for the other items, but I was charged $60.00 to replace 2 license plate bulbs. These are the simple 1/4 turn to remove the light socket, replace the bulb, and 1/4 turn to reinstall. Many call the dealer the Stealership and I just found out why. See Ya!

Ive been doing business here for the last 2 years and the service and people are excellent, except for this time. I am very disappointed with the new service advisor Rod. When I specifically ask for something thats what I want. When my wife asks for something thats what she wants. When I offer to give you more money to change both headlights at the same time dont argue with my wife. When I tell you I want A/T tires put on my truck I dont want H/L. I am truly sorry for the low score but thats how it is. Again the service has been 5 stars for 2 years except for this go around when I have had my truck in the shop 4 times in 2 weeks.

I had an incredible experience at Vern Eide a few weeks ago when I bought my car. Josh Cords helped me and was impressive. He worked to get me the best vehicle for me and my family, the best rate for a loan, and anything else I needed. I was just back to get my plates on and he stayed after the shop closed to put them on! Vern Eide works hard to do good, and they exceed in that!

They were great at first. But 1 week after I bought my car it acted up. They refused to honor warranty. Stated it was my fault wanted me to.pay 2000.00 for stuff that was clearly wrong before I bought it. I know cause I got a second opinion from a certificate Chevy mechanic.

I did a lot of research on a car I wanted to buy for around 2 years. One day while I was just browsing cars on the internet, I came across the car I have been looking for! I inquired about it and the dealership got back to me right away, I was thinking because of my poor credit situation and my budget, that there would be no way I could get approved for a new loan to buy this car, the dealership listened to my situation and what I was looking to do and I could not get down there for about a week because I live in Farmington, which is an hour and 20 mins north of there. I needed to wait untill I had a day off of work. I asked them to please save this car for me. I went down there and they had a lot of interested buyers wanting to buy this car, but they saved it for me. the first question I was asked when I got there, was are you sure you want to buy this car? I said yes. I told them about my life style and my list of things I had be researching and I did do a lot of researching on the car I went there to buy and I researched its Carfax report, so that I knew exactly what I was about to get myself into. They understood exactly where I was coming from and they did not treat me like a woman who doesnt know anything, as other dealerships have done to me in the past. They told me they would help me wether I bought the car or not. They surprised me with an amazing deal on my financing and got me a very affordable payment and they even got me approved for a bumper to bumper warranty for the life of my car loan. they did not make me fell pressured in any way, I felt they went out of their way to make sure this purchase was right for me and my budget and my lifestyle. They even made sure I something to eat and drink the whole time I was there and everyone in the dealership was very friendly and took an interest in my car purchase. I bought a manual transmission car which I had no idea how to drive it, but I have always wanted to learn and own. My salesman is Mike, and he took many hours out of his busy day to teach me how to drive the car and to make sure I felt comfortable driving it on my own before I took it home, he even offered to find me a way home if I didnt feel comfortable driving it by myself. Luckily he he taught me very well and I got the hang of it pretty quickly. He even checked on me hours later to make sure I made it home safe. I suspected the car was having an issue with the clutch because I thought I possibly could have burnt my clutch in the first week of driving it. So I let them know about it and they were great about allowing me to immediately bring the car back to drop it off to be checked out and repaired Id needed. They surprised me by sending me home in a brand new beautiful $32,000.00 vehicle and they made sure the gas tank was full for me to drive it home. My clutch was actually fine, but they did find a different issue and repaired it for me right away at no cost to me. They had my car done and ready for me quickly but I had to wait a week untill I had a day off to go pick it up. When I picked it up and returned their car, they were amazing! They even put my license plates on my car for me while it was there. I would highly recommend this dealership and my salesman Mike Jilk and my finance person Darren are the most helpful people I have ever worked with when buying a car. I have bought many cars at many different dealerships in my life and I also work in the auto industry. I have never been happy with a dealership in the past because I have left feeling like I just got sold into something, rather then feeling confident in the investment I made. This time I felt completely confident in my investment. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and I will only buy here from now. Thank you for all of your help, I really appreciate everything!

We were traveling from South Dakota to Madison, Wi, when we started having issues with our 2009 Saturn approx. 15 Mi. West of Fairmont, Mn. Managed to limp into Albert Lee after 6pm. Spent the night there and a little after 8am arrived here. The lady at the service was extremely understanding and after checking with service foreman (I assume that was who she talked to) they got my vehicle in right away and showed us the waiting area. After a short time he came and explained the problem and solution and the fact they had the part in stock and that it would take about an hour to repair and the estimated cost. After giving authority to repair, we were back on the road by 10:30am. Extremely pleased with your service dept. Cant say THANK YOU enough to show our appreciation.

Just had a horrible customer service experience there. I called to inquire about my vehicle and was told that service had already closed. Apparently nobody else was able to help me, why are you still open then?? The lady that answered the phone was in accounting, and acted like she resented me asking for help. I need to know whats wrong with my vehicle. I would never purchase another car there again, and I would highly discourage anyone from going there. Apparently its okay for their employees to be incredibly rude to their paying customers!

Absolutely the WORST customer service!! My husband and I bought 2 vehicles and we regret the decision to ever buy from this place. The service department is by far the most rude and incompetent service department Ive ever dealt with! My husband and I both participate in the tires for life program and now that I am due for tires they wont honor it. They wont fix anything under the warranty, they say nothing is wrong or they say they will see if the problem is covered and will call me and I never get a return call. They treat women and veterans like second class citizens. I hope anyone considering buying from this place reconsiders and finds a more trustworthy and respectable dealership!

Our 2005 Diesel Chevy truck went into safe mode on the way to the Rally at Sturgis pulling our 35 foot 5th wheel. The service department treated us GREAT! They had us back on the road in less than 20 minutes and we never even had to unhook the trailer. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!
