Called them on a Monday for non working water heater. Technician came out within hours. He fixed thermocouple but discovered gas valve also needed to be replaced. Part not in stock so needed to be ordered. 2 days pass; I hear nothing. Call them to ask about a timeframe. Spoke with three different people and nobody knows what I’m talking about. What part??? Told they’d get back to me. Thursday I receive a text that a technician is on their way to my home. I’m at work but ask a friend to wait at my house for them. Friend contacts me after waiting 1 1/2 hours. No technician. Once again, I call them. Nobody has a clue what I’m talking about. Someone guesses text may have been computer generated when my ticket was pulled up. I inquire about the part. I am told they will get back to me. Friday morning I call again. I’m told that the part should be arriving around noon. 4:30 pm, I get a random text message that just says “your water heater is now working.” Great! I have hot water. Then I get the bill in the mail…$505 in parts and labor for a 15 year old hot water heater!!! I called to ask how they determined repairs vs replacement. Response I got from Don was that he probably would’ve replaced the unit had he known the age of it. Very poor service. Right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Will not recommend or do business with again.

I have been using Jim & Dudes for 2 years. Call me a slow learner but it always been a 50-50 chance to have a smooth experience. I have had problems at all levels, scheduling, work done and invoicing.Following my latest service call, I am done calling them, I will find someone else.I called to have my sewer line cleared, run the camera in the line, a shut-off valve seal to be fixed (Jim and dudes installed it) and a second shut-off valve to be replaced. They gave me a week lead time which is fine.A week later, I call back to have more info on when the technician will show up. They had no trace of my service call. They managed to have someone come the next day though. The technician just cleaned the sewer line. I had to call back and tell them he didnt even do half the job I requested.Two days later, another technician shows up, run the camera down the sewer line. Then he proceed to replace the two outside faucets that were never mentioned, replace the shut off valve that just needed the seal to be fixed and didnt even touch the shut off valve that needed to be replaced.Will see what happens when I get the invoices but after this, I will never call them again. It is too bad because they do have some capable and nice workers, you just never know which one you are going to get.I am updating the review 2 weeks after the original post to share the remaining of my last call ever with Jim and Dudes.After my original post the owner very promptly replied and apologized.It was very nice, but it is the first time in 2 years someone did that. Also I would rather your team to be prompt at calling back rather than taking care of google reviews. It took a day to reply to this post but a week to call me back.Final nail in the coffin is the invoice I received today. I was given a generous labor discount. It would have been generous if the original charge was correct. I was charged for 4 hours of labor. First visit technician was here for 30 min, second visit he was here for 40 min, to that you add travel time 40 min round trip, times 2. It should be 2 and half hours to 3 hours top.I will pay the invoice and move on to hopefully a better company.

The two technicians came on time to install our new Central Air, furnace, filter, and humidifier. They were polite, courteous and did great work. The system looks nice and the Daiken equipment is so quiet.

Great help, good advice, got a part for my furnace there. Everyone one is very polite and helpful.They had the part on hand. There wasnt anyway waiting just had to pick it up and pay for it.Thanks guys!

Every person we dealt with from Jim & Dudes from estimating to install was so pleasant, courteous, and respectful. They patiently answered all our questions, and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. We will never use another company for our plumbing and heating needs. Oh, and the price was great!

After 30+ years of my family doing business with them, it was time for work on my home. A 2 day project to replace my boiler took 7 working days to complete. The damage to my home and the mess left behind is so disappointing. Pictures being posted.Also have a toilet that is leaking. The gentleman who came by twice is unable to figure it out. Rather than be straight forward about his unsuccessful attempt and bring someone to help him he proceeded to assure me, the home owner, that I must be seeing things wrong.I have lived in this home for 8 months. When that toilet flushes, it drips. The bath tub has never caused a drip. He assures me its the tub and not the toilet, I am clearly mistaken.They left solder dripping all around my basement, on the toilet paper no less!!! Fire hazard? Ran over my planter and said nothing. Every area they worked has been left a mess. I will be the first to admit, I purchased an older home and it needs some work. However, I would expect some professional courtesy and cleanliness from them. He didnt even bother to clean up the solder drippings!

I have had Jim &Dudes for service 3 times in the last month. I am very happy with his cost, repairs and being on time. I am so happy I went to them. I used to use Christensen Plumbing before and they money gouged me and did very bad work. I own many properties.

They did a great job putting in a new outside spigot, and fixed the drain in the bathtub for a reasonable price.

We had them install a sump pump in our basement (our basement didnt have one) as well as a new water softener and laundry tub (completely new install, we never had one). Matt, did and awesome job! He was nothing but professional and knew what he was doing. I would highly recommend this company! Phase 3 is a new shower in the basement, which I will be having them do as well. very happy customer here!

I had J&D remodel my Master Bathroom recently, Matt Johnson was my plumber. They were on time, neat, and on budget. Matt communicated with me regularly and kept me in the loop and up to speed. Dennis (owner/manager) stopped by to check in also. Project is beautiful and we’ve been enjoying our new bathroom. Thanks Jim and Dudes!😎👍

Furnace quit about 4am. Called Jim & Dudes after figuring it was more than I could fix. They said will get by this afternoon but I had to go to work but my brother would be home. Heat wave today, above freezing. They were here by noon and after a couple checks had things fixed in a couple hours. They even brought a couple space heaters in case they couldnt repair without ordering a part. I have called them for all plumbing, electric and/or heating/ac things. They treat people good and dont overcharge but always go beyond.

We had a new faucet installed in the kitchen and the old one removed. their tech was here on time and even though it was a italian faucet he was able to install it in my old house and make it work he did a good job. all i had to do was plug up the left over holes from the old faucet. their billing dept is extremely slow. it was about 2 weeks after he finished before i new the cost.

Love these folks. They have come to our rescue more than once always with a smile. They handle commercial as well, and Im happy that at home or work I can always call 373-6161 for Jim and Dudes.

I originally inquired about an estimate - asked how much the estimate would be and they said they do free estimates. I scheduled the estimate, waited 4 days with no word and finally called them to see what they had come up with. I was told they couldn’t find any information on my file and would call me back. When they finally called me back they were rude and questioned why I was even calling to begin with. Then they sent me a bill 3 months later for the estimate - even though they still offer “free estimates”. Will never recommend. Not impressed.

They respond quickly and I trust them to do a great job.

Matt and the entire Jim and Dude’s team are great! The ease of scheduling a service call is much appreciated as is their care to make sure the repair is completed to the homeowners satisfaction - even when it’s a stubborn issue to fix. We trust them with all of our plumbing and HVAC needs and highly recommended them to others.

Kody called and arrived in a very timely fashion. He was very nice and personable and did his work quickly-not running the clock. He explained what happened. I would be happy to have him as a technician again.

Took him too long to find out the problem, and its not good for us since they charge by the hour. didnt even discuss what he gonna do...(cleaning, waiting, ...), didnt give a good answer when I asked.finally, it costs close to $350 and the machine only worked for another 2 weeks. I opened the panel and see right away whats wrong....but he only found out after cleaning, run back and forth, waiting, and I paid for those. He made it working but doesnt seem like enough for a year or two (as he said). If the over $300 bill is for 2 weeks, who would do that?very unhappy and frustrated. DO NOT call for your fridges problem.

2 VISITS TO SNAKE OUT SEWER DRAIN AND WAS CHARGED OVER $600. CALLED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE CHARGES AND THEY WERE GOING TO DEDUCT $89 WHICH THEY NEVER DID. PROBLEM WAS STILL NOT SOLVED SO i RENTED A COMMERCIAL SNAKE FOR $80 AND DID A MUCH BETTER JOB THEN THEY DID AND HAVE NOT HAD A BACK UP IN OVER 9 MONTH NOW. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVER.

Bought a house early this year and the previous owners gave us receipts for everything done by Jim and dudes. Our ignitor went out and we noticed there was a receipt that indicated it was replaced 1 month ago. Called up Jim and dudes and explained we just bought the house and wondered if warranty would transfer. He said “yeah we can do that for you.” Well great. Went out again 2 weeks later and now they say they can’t cover it because it wasn’t us that owned the house the first time it happened even though previously they covered it. He said he would call me back later and let me know what he figured out. He NEVER CALLED BACK. horrible service. I would highly recommend you get your services done elsewhere.

The guys were very nice. However, it took them too long to figure out the problems with our water heater. It took them over a week to fix it. Communication was subpar and walking in a clean home with dirty shoes wasnt exactly the best customer service either.

Grant Sheffield came to save the day when my heater died. Much appreciated! Stay warm!

Called Jim & Dudes plumbing for an estimate to get some plumbing work done in our bathroom when he finally came out to give me an estimate he said he would email us the estimate within the week it’s been 2-3 weeks and I haven’t received an estimate and I have called twice trying to get it and no one returned my call I will never use this company again! What ever happened to customer service? 😡
