Do not go here if you are shipping internationally. I went in THREE separate times to try and return a shirt I purchased from Ireland & each time it was mailed back to me by customs because it was missing the electronic CN23 form. Nobody working there had any idea what that was, so I spent $30 on shipping that they would not refund me. Ended up wasting more money than the shirt was worth on absolutely nothing. Thankfully FedEx knew EXACTLY what form was required and shipped it no problem.

I paid for OVERNIGHT shipping of a Gecko (live animal) Thursday the 8th at 12 noon 🕛 I was TOLD as it was printed on my receipt 🧾 it was to be DELIVERED BY FRIDAY THE 9th NO LATER THEN 3pm OVERNIGHT SHIPPING “MONEY BACK GUARANTEED” with 100$ insurance ..... here it is 3 pm MONDAY THE 12 4/5 days later and my package is still in transit and the USPS refuses to refund the 42$ shipping or respect the 100$ insurance policy

In early November I relocated only one block away here in Albemarle and completed a change of address form. I did not receive multiple Christmas cards that friends and family sent to me, nor were they returned. I had a birthday in late February and a package was never delivered or returned to sender. It included a check in the amount of $50 made out to me that has never been cashed . Another envelope mailed to me from Charlotte also contained a check that I never received and was never returned to sender. Several other cards never reached me at all and I just got a letter from a friend right here in town who also mailed me a card on February 16 that’s never reached me yet or been returned to her.Several other cards never reached me at all and I just got a letter from a friend right here in town who also mailed me a card on February 16 that’s never reached me yet or been returned to her.I went into the post office and I was treated cordially and the matter was looked into; I was told that all mail should still be forwarded after only a few months. I also spoke directly with my regular mail carrier and he assured me that he was not putting my mail in the old mailbox by mistake. He was my regular carrier there as well and said he knew I was just a few houses away. All these missing envelopes obviously were cards and that package obviously held some kind of merchandise. I have gotten no straight answer on this. I find it hard to believe that so many different mailings were stolen en route and I feel like the return of address sticker was not put on any of them and they were delivered to 603 N. 3rd St. The occupant there obviously threw them away since they were not given back to the mail carrier. I have notified everyone of my change of address and nothing else should be sent to me at 603 N. 3rd St. but my mail carrier needs to pay attention to the envelope and make sure it’s delivered to the right address . There is some theft going on somewhere, or someone is just tossing my mail when it’s delivered to the wrong place.

Most of the time we get packages the day after they are to be delivered according to their own tracking. Once I tracked the carrier down because it was said to be out for delivery and she left a few envelopes in our box but left no package--it was time sensitive. She had the packages, claiming that she was going to come back to deliver them. We considered that to be fabricated since we rarely get packages when tracking said they would be delivered.Today, we had 3 gifts arriving for a birthday party we planned to leave early Saturday morning. The packages were out for delivery but we go no package. So we tried calling the Post Office. The phone had been taken off the hook (we assumed) because it was busy all day. I drove to the post office, and they said the package was out with the delivery person. We were told to come back at 6 pm to pick it up.
Our postal carrier damages my childs hardcover children books by trying to fold them and SHOVE them in the mail box. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Why do you think this is OK to do? Not to mention when I want to call and talk to someone I have to call the 1800 number. The wait time is ONE HOUR! GET IT TOGETHER. I will be going to the post office to complain in person.
Package was shoved in my mail box, it was so tight I had to call the post office to have someone come and remove the package. Guy I talked to at the post office acted like he could care less about my problem, and simply said oh they will have it out today, have a good day sir! and hung the phone up!
I have never had a pleasant experience with them. Everything is an issue and the people there dont want to put any effort into solving an issue. Im tempeted to spend the extra money to get a P.O. box from some where.
I dont get most of my mail, get neighbors. After many send backs, and notes on the mailbox, service does not get any better. For a federal agency, I have had to pay for lost titles and civil penalties for mail never delivered. There is a reason the post office is a thing of the past. They dont care.
