We had a service person come out on Thursday 9/9/21 with a promise to come back Saturday 9/11/21 to do a job that was quoted at $2200. On Friday evening, we were informed that the person who was supposed to run the excavator had Covid and the job would have to be put off until Monday 9/13/21. No one showed up by noon, so we called and were basically told the guy who told us he could do the job only did small residential jobs, not something of this magnitude. We were kept waiting all afternoon before anyone called us back, and after hearing nothing, we reached out to them again, only to be told that they couldnt do the job as promised for at least another week because they had other jobs contracted. After promising first Saturday, then Monday, they still cant get to us for another week to ten days, which is completely unacceptable. This company has been nothing but unprofessional and when we said we would be calling the BBB, we were told by the head plumbing technician to go ahead and do so because there was nothing they could do to help us.

Harmon was extremely professional from the get go.I scheduled an appointment quickly, they were on time and finished a rather complex job in one hour!Jacob, the electrician, was knowledgeable and efficient and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and completed a perfect job. Thank you for amazing service, Garmon.

Having just purchased my home 2 months ago, and being told by the seller the hvac system was under warranty, I contacted Garmon Wednesday. The only positive I have is that a technician came out within an hour. He diagnosed the problem as a blower, and told me it wasnt in stock, so they would have to order. Not thinking much about it, I said ok. The next day, I hadnt heard from Garmon, I contacted the original owner, and he contacted Garmon. He informed me that the warranty was out by a week and a half, but he was wanting me to stick it out thinking Garmon would help considering he was such a loyal customer. Well I still hadnt heard from Garmon Friday, so I had a different company come out to give me a quote. I call Garmon to let them know I wont be needing their services its a $600 job through a different company and they can do it today. The lady that I spoke with let me know, they pulled some strings to get my part back under warranty (it expired a week and a half ago), theyve ordered the part and it is being expedited from Tennessee. She cant tell me when it will arrive but Im already indebted to them $160 roughly for shipping cost and service charge. She doesnt know when the part will arrive, when it can be installed. She claimed it could be today, but considering its after business hours, Id say not. If they would have let me know that the warranty wasnt valid to start with all of this could have been avoided completelyI was and am only using them for the sole purpose of it being under warranty with them. The only solid advice the lady said over the phone was if I were YOU, Id be in a hotel already.... gee thanks.

They are great people that know what they are doing. They put in a new hot water heater after looking at our old one. They also hooked up a water line for our refrigerator. I would definitely call them again.

We had used this company for an apartment we were finishing several years ago and although we had a few concerns with them then we gave them another chance which turned out to be a huge mistake.They started working on a loft style apartment for us (in the same building the first apartment they worked on is) in June 2020 and here we are in January 2021 with incomplete work and failed electrical inspections.Different crews are sent out sporadically and they even went in entire month without showing up at all. When we raise concerns they act like were the problem because were so far from Albemarle. Then I guess they should’ve taken the job.They have the nerve to send us bills when they have incomplete work and like I stated before and FAILED inspections.

Kyle was truly fansastic! I have had multiple issues with my HVAC and after dealing with some underpar technicians, I was skeptical if strong work ethics still existed. He was thorough, explained everything he was doing, was honest and respectful and went through every step with the utmost professionalism. He is the only one I trust for my HVAC needs and I make sure I let others know it as well! Excellent work Garmon. You have an excellent employee!!!

Will NOT recommend this company. Cost $800+ and still not fixed. Waited almost full week to get it fix, asked for an update to Sandy, didnt received any call back. I had to call to get any updates because it was emergency to us. The guy was here to fix, he was very rude and just hung up on the phone and threw the phone on the counter. Hired someone else, got it fixed on the SAME DAY. Turns out whoever wrote the model number, was incorrect and just placed the wrong motor in it.

Called at 8:45am, they came out at 3:00pm. Confirmed that my fan motor was bad. Fixed it on the spot and was paid and gone by 4:30pm. Danny is a good character and professional. Signed up on a maintenance agreement so we’ll see them in the fall.

Was so pleased once again to see Derrick as he arrived on time to perform our fall check up. As usual he was extremely well mannered young man,polite and finished in a timely manner. Garmon Electrical responded to my home and was text book in easing my concerns and building my confidence that the problem would be resolved. Technician Kyle walked me through each phase of checks he would preform on the system and kept me updated on the results. He never gave up and did in fact find and fix the problem. My system is working like it never has before. Unbelievable. I’m so thankful to Kyle for his hard work, professionalism and kindness and to Garmon Electrical for great customer service when I really needed it.

Scheduled an appointment for a new install at 2 pm 11/12 no one showed up. I called after 3 pm they sent someone out. They said they would give me the quote via email that day, and I still havent got the quote days later.

Garmin installed a new HVAC system in our home a few months ago along with a tankless water heater. The technicians were professional and went above and beyond to provide great service. They dont cut corners. recently they called us to schedule a follow-up check up of our system. Bob Garmin delivered on everything promised and our hvac system works quietly and flawlessly. They arent the cheapest but they are the best.
