Excellent, prompt service. Staff was very accommodating and amended documents (at no extra cost!) required by a nit-picky court clerk, although original docs were fine. Would gladly use Poole & Co again and again.

The woman at Alexander Poole is the most difficult to deal with - you would think that we were asking her to do something dreadful out of the realm of personal service in NY. Condescending, unprofessional and extremely time-consuming with numerous communications. Second time weve had an issue with this company and will not be utilizing going forward.

Im an attorney and I assisted an unrepresented (pro se) low-income plaintiff bring a lawsuit. This person needed to serve two corporate entities through the secretary of state. I sent the papers to Alexander Poole as a service process. They received the papers and when I called to check on status and pay, they told me they had to charge an extra fee because the person was pro se. They didnt tell me that when I called the first time, this extra fee is nowhere on their website, and its pretty gross to charge poor people more for the same service. The supervisor gave me attitude when I called her out on it too. I would give them only one star except they did manage to serve the papers properly after granting me the one-time courtesy of not adding the undisclosed fee. I would report them for deceptive business practices except there are bigger fish to fry.
