TerrIble, terrible staffing agency! I applied for a job months ago for a government position in Albany, and the whole time I was given the runaround. They kept saying that they havent been contacted yet by the people for interviews, but, when they would, they would let me know if I was accepted. Also, of course, they made sure to pump my email full of low paying, temp positions in the meantime. I actually got in contact with the department that was hiring, and they told me they were waiting on the hiring manager to make a decision/get in contact with Labor Finders. Everytime I called one of the parties involved it seemed like none of them knew anything, except for the fact that the position wasnt filled. I finally called Labor Finders again, right before posting this, and the receptionist there gave me a really bad attitude. She told me that I was never contacted because they dont do that, even though they specifically said that I would be contacted to know if I was accepted or not. Better yet, she said it was because I had no experience in the position that I applied for, which is not true at all, and experience in that position wasnt even necessary/commented on in the job description, except for having a high school diploma and possible (but not required) skills. I tried to explain to her that they told me they would let me know, and she kept snapping at me, telling me I was talking over her, even though she was the one talking over me! I even gave her the time to talk/speak her point, but she acted as if I was not listening. To top it off, she hanged up on me. I will never work with this staffing agency again, and I hope nobody else will either. Save yourself the trouble.
Cool people but they havent gave me anything solid M-F so Im going to find something else
Easy and quick to get started.
