I was struggling to find a job in the pharmaceutical industry because of my background. I was trying for months and just got rejections and was feeling discouraged until I started working with Abby. To tell you she is the best recruiter I ever worked with is an understatement. She is exceptional and honestly one of the sweetest person I got to know. You can tell she loves working with people. She helped me adjust from moving states, to checking in and always answering my questions. Abby helped me land a full time position with a company that I love. I could literally write a book about how amazing she is. If you ever need to find a recruiter, ask for Abby!
I had just moved to the area and was looking for a job. Abby from Alaant helped me find a position reasonably quickly, and has always been more than helpful during my employment. I felt that she genuinely tried to serve not just her companys but my best interests, and I truly appreciate it.These kinds of companies can have various experiences for people, and I think that largely depends on who is working on your job search, as well as your realistic expectations of the positions you will get. I had no luck finding a job, the bills were creeping up, and Abby was able to find me one in my field, and I am grateful for that.
I really had a fantastic experience with Alaant, in my recent job search. I should have sought them out earlier with the benefit of hindsight. Regardless, it started when I was met by Ms. Michelle Conn on a walk-in Wednesday. Ms. Conn added some useful suggestions to my resume, and told me that given the breadth and depth of my experience they would gladly work with me. She directed me to her colleague Ms. Megan Dermalowicz whose niche is in health care-related recruiting, where I have experience. Ultimately, there were no roles that were a good fit and I secured a good to great role shortly thereafter, elsewhere. However I cant say enough about the firm and the two principals cited above and therefore, have made several referrals of this firm to others.
If you are looking to find a job you definitely want to go to Alaant. Monica was great to work with, and she put in a ton of effort to help me secure a job opportunity. Thankful I turned to Alaant.
I worked through Alaant for a year. Any time I had a question, they responded back very quickly. As a result, I was able to continue with the company they placed me with. I would highly recommend this company!
Linium is a fantastic recruiting agency to work with. They are prompt, professional, and transparent with everything. I highly recommend working with them
They placed me in a wonderful temp job that became a permanent full time job after a couple of months. Always quick to respond to any questions I had and very supportive when needed.
I love this company. I just graduated and couldnt find work. They placed me with a phenominal company and handled the hiring process so smoothly. I only worked there for 90 days and found another job. During those 90 days, I was contacted several times by linium staff to check in. They really care about their people and also the companies they serve. If you are looking to temp, this is a great company to work for.
I have been applying to sooo many jobs and getting nowhere until I came across Linium online, the staff was friendly, helpful, and motivated to match me with a position in a short amount of time. I just finished my first week at my organization and am so thankful Im here-who knew this would happen so quickly and become such a great fit!
The recruiters there are all professional and very nice -- but more importantly got me set up with a job at my top-choice company!
I had my first interview with Linium on June 7th and started a great job on July 5th. Everyone I met with was very friendly and positive.
Linium Staffing is a rare bred in the plethora of staffing agencies in todays market. It was refreshing to have agency that is looking for the right fit for both employee and employer.
Went to a meeting with one of their agents and discussed science jobs and applying to a company they often work with. Went well and I finished all their paperwork. Then I didnt hear from them for almost 2 months. Wrote an email complaining about there being 5-6 science jobs up and I hadnt heard anything from them. Got a crappy phone call basically saying they couldnt fit me to any of the jobs and to apply to the place on my own. So I wasted 2 months of not applying to this company for nothing.
I jumped the hoops in trying to find a job with Linium Staffing but they never got back to me. I had a very cold, rushed interview with someone that made it clear she had better things to do. I have a great background and solid experience so I was surprised to be brushed off so casually. I heard more than once Ill get back to you later today, but later never came. When you call the office phone number, no one answers. If you leave a VM, they dont get back to you. With countless staffing agencies in the area, I wouldnt waste your time with this one.
Very friendly, positive atmosphere. Good people who have a passion for helping clients.
Coming from one of the Big 4 firms, maybe expectations are too high. I was contacted about a local position, replied with my info and waited to hear back for about 3 months. Attempted to check in via several emails, voice mails, but still nothing. Despite the poor etiquette, I agreed to help connect a friend to aid in his job search. When I attempted to call, it rang once and hung up. Tried again and rang until VM. Main office number was no better.Client relationship managment is not complicated, but you have to make an attempt. My impression is of a local branch that needs better oversight or of a lower tier service provider. You will not retain quality applicants with the lack of professionalism.Glad others have had better luck
Nice atmosphere, professional and friendly and have good placement options.
Just another temp agency that does not have a good reputation with clients around Albany. I would suggest to use another such as Walrath, Fusco or Manpower, they all get the same requirements from the state and others.
This company is terrible to communicate with from an employee perspective. They messed up multiple checks of mine while working a temp job for them, confused the time off that I requested, dont call back in a timely manner when you have questions about the job youre working, and they do not represent you to any extent to who the contract you out to. And if you want some icing on the cake, they send W-2s out very late. If you are someone who is seeking work do not go through Linium, find a company that will back you up and your goals.
Had a serious problem with a hostile environment on an assignment, reported it to Alaant and quit. They said they would get back to me. Never did. As expected with any temp agency, you are no more valued than a piece of office furniture.
I wish to work in Albany
