I normally just shave my head on my own so this was my first hair cut by another person in 11 years. Everyone there was friendly and the place had a lively and inviting atmosphere which helped me relax. D cut my hair and was professional and considerate of what I wanted done. He helped me feel at ease and gave me a great look. I will surely be back again.

This was my first barber experience and I am so glad I came here! Friendly and very informed staff. He answered all of my questions, made sure me and my husband who was waiting for me were comfortable and had some laughs while listening to some good music! My cut came out bomb. It is the first time I went this short and I am so happy with it!!! I would recommend anyone to this place!!

Best barbershop in Albany to me! I dont live upstate NY anymore but when I visit I always stop by just to let my boys get a haircut. Staff is very friendly, amazing with kids and have so much knowledge on what they are doing. The guy with the dreads is great but Darnell normally always cuts my boys hair and they love him. Highly recommend!!!

No Joke, this place is probably one of the nicest professional place to geta really good haircut. Most black owned barbershops tend to lack heavily on any form of professionalism. There are very few that set good standards and have good work ethic. good customer service, no smell of cigarettes or cannabis in the shop, you can make an online appointment and also pay for your haircut with your credit card, No weird characters coming through to conduct business in the back room; atleast i havent seen any. Owner is always polite and willing to help.

Not your average barbershop. The customer service is top notch. They go above and beyond to make sure there clients dont only get a great haircut but have an amazing experience. Not to mention its not just a barber shop they have a flurry of different male grooming treatments that you can get there. Recommend this spot to everyone but Im a person who believes you have to experience something yourself. But I promise if you experience this your going to feel the same way I did.

Wonder full place for men women and kids. When u walk in ther it is amazing service there are kids either working out or reading. I had an amazing experience at Distinguished Cuts. As an out-of-towner picking a good place to go can be tough. Im very happy I went to Distinguished Cuts. The service was unmatchable and the cut was perfect. It wasnt just a haircut, it was an experience. I highly recommend going to the guys/ladies at Distinguished, I know Ill be going back.

Dude pushed my hairline back. Besides the nice environment and good atmosphere at the end of the day its all about the haircut. Thats is y it is hard for me to give these new shops a chance.he had my hairline looking like bart Simpson Ill just have to wait another 2 weeks for it to grow back.(sarcasm).on a positive note if they get good barbers it would get more business cuz the atmosphere is awesome.

They gave me a mediocre overpriced haircut (20$) which somehow took an hour when it should have taken 15 minutes and apparently that was a reduced price because it was my first time. They were also fairly rude the entire time. When I asked how much the haircut would cost, one guy randomly spouted a description of every special deal they had which literally took about 3 minutes without stopping to breath. On the other hand, Im not a particularly social person and its possible that that may have pissed them off. Also, Im white and that might have pissed them off. Regardless Im not planning on going back. Additionally if you happen to notice a lot of good reviews online, its probably because they give discounts to people that post good reviews.

It actually elevates the experience of getting a haircut. My barber Enrique was relatable and skilled. Would highly reccomend.
