Filthiest Dirtiest WORST OWNER should not be allowed to own ANY business in the U.S.A. The Town if Colonie NY had to tear down two of his disgusting gross motels and took ownership of the land due to OWNER not responsible enough to maintain them. They were condemed inhabitable.

Food is good but i keep forgetting dinner price is all day on the weekend. $16.97 with water to drink. Make sure you come before 4 on a weekday if your looking for a good price. But you wont get the steak i think

Lovely staff, didnt check in too much but made sure to clear plates as needed. I tried a lot of stuff but it was hit and miss. Price is good for all you can eat. Some of the food was really good and some was horrible. The deserts buffet is great, love the chocolate fountain, and they are so kind to turn the cotton candy maker back on for me, just before we left!

The staff was amazing and very helpful. They have lots of different food and for the amount you pay its very fair. Not at the top of my list but I would visit again.

Is it shut down for good when does it open back up?

It’s hit and miss. One day it’s clean and buffet is full other days it’s dirty and be lucky there’s food out.

They had commercials on TV all of July saying they were back open since the Pandemic. I drive there and they are still closed indefinitely.

Good food, good service, good people.

Came here before COVID they sold my dog to charity bless their souls.

The good: Actually the food is quite tasty even though it is made in massive quantity.The bad: Waiting in line to enter then waiting with plate in hand.The ugly: While we were up getting our initial plate, a group moved our drinks and coats to another table to accommodate for themselves.One would think at 4pm on a Saturday, it would not be so busily insane. I personally dont enjoy mass crowds like this. For the money, the food was good. The sirlion steak was quite tasty. We both enjoyed the fresh salads. My wife liked the shrimp and salmon.I suppose I cant hold the establishment accountable for the insanity of food crazed patrons wanting to get fed but something about this place fosters this atmosphere. Its good value but not great. Golden Corral will remain a place to consider but it wont be a routine dining spot.

You get what you pay for no lie but the smell does it for me smh. Dont know what the smell is but I hate it. The plates, bowls, forks and spoons be dirty.

If youre into buffet, this is your place. Three large stations featuring Greens, Grill, Dessert.Breakfast, lunch and dinner are seamlessly put out.

Im not usually a fan of buffets but we were invited here for a family get together type thing..it was right around the dinner rush so it was pretty busy but staff kept options fully stocked, fresh, and clean as well. Our server was very friendly and made sure all of our drinks were refilled and table clean and even came around to offer coffee when we started in on dessert. My favorites were the popcorn shrimp and bourbon street chicken. And the bread pudding was amazing Id love to know how they make it! Of course my son loved the chocolate fountain!!!

Listen Im not saying the food wasnt good or the service Im saying they could of made sure the food was more prepared i took a bite from my wifes chicken and it was delicious but when I went to grab a piece for myself of course the inside wasnt done is it me of did golden corral used have a bigger selection of foods Im not disappointed Im just unsatisfied.

Just about everything was superb. Wait staff helpful and attending.Normally I would give a 4-star rating, as there is room for slight improvement (a few items I had on the buffet werent all that great, but palatable nonetheless)However, I gave Golden Corral 5 stars because I was given the complete meal, w/ beverage, entirely free on Veterans Day, being a Vet myself.So because of their generosity to myself and all fellow veterans, and the hospitality showed me, I believe this restaurant is deserving a 5 star.

Golden Corral has a wide variety of foods. Something for everyone. Pay one price and eat as much as you desire, including desserts and chocolate fountain. Excellent food. Great value!!

Great food. Usually nice servers. Love their Fried Chicken The carrot cake is out of this world. My only problem although its not that bad is it sometimes it gets a little noisy.

Good selections for the price. Really nice for larger groups. Everyone could get filled up! Nothing flashy about it. If you want to eat good, minimize costs and allow everyone the buffet excursion, this is the place to go!

We had sadly had a bad experience before at this location so I called and spoke with the manager there currently and we were welcomed back in to make up for the prior experience which caused us not to want to return. It change our whole perspective going back to enjoy a lovely meal with my family. the food was 10times better than the prior visit and the manager bill and our server Beth were amazing.

Saturday night. BIG mistake. Horribly crowded, short staffed. Had to get our own water. Ladies room was totally disgusting. Tiles missing in stalls. No toilet paper and one stall did not lock.

Ive eaten here several times. The salad bar, chicken, fish, ham and other meats are good. Once in awhile you get a tough piece of steak. The fruits inside salads are almost always good. Mushrooms and most of vegetables are good but the green beans and corn are can products. On the weekends the breakfast buffet is always good. What I dont like about the buffet is the taco meats and pasta. The desert area always seems to be a mess and during peak hours the salad bar gets messy. They need to stay on top of cleaning up after the guest. The two things I say really dont like are the bathrooms and you never see the manager on the floor. If the manager was walking the floor more often and giving his employees a hand the presentation of the salad bar would be a lot better. So if youre looking for a huge variety and dont have the time to wait to eat the Golden Corral is the place for you.

I dont come here often but when I do Im reminded of why that is. The food is alright I guess (it is buffet food) but there seems to be a bit of an issue with cleanliness and flies all over the food. Thats a pretty major deal breaker for me.

Fast and Friendly Customer Service... Excellent Pricing... the Facility was Clean including the Bathrooms.... and it had a Warm... Inviting... Atmosphere... The Golden Coral was a Good Experience... I Enjoyed my time there...

Golden Corral is a fast food buffet. Anyone who goes will be satisfied, but will have to exercise a little self control. All You Can Eat isnt a healthy idea.That said,. The salad bar is quite good. There is a wide range of dinner choices - roast beef, turkey, ham, chicken, all manner of veggies and side dishes. And to close a desert buffet as well. The price is fair. A little less than going to Chiles or Applebees, with many more options.So if you dont really know what you want to eat. Golden Corral will have something for you, just be careful no to overindulge.

Great food and friendly staff! Absolutely love their pasta selection. However, I wish there was more control with customers with letting their kids run around. Me being partially blind, I dont want to accidentally ram into a small child whose parents let them run rampage. Great place!

Always a great selection of different foods. Our servers have always been courteous and friendly. Decently priced for the amount of food offered. The food is always delicious. I love the Pot roast and get it every time.

It was crowded, the workers were working hard but the crowd was huge... They needed more help. The food was good... I didnt eat much but 20 minutes later theres always a meeting with the toilet, and for some reason ur hungry again 🤗 its a family place tho!

Great waitress and a lot of delicious selections. Not everything that normally is available was and some of the prepping people had a bit of impatience with our fellow diners. Not rude just an impatient attitude bordering on rude. The quality and selection of the food and the friendliness of our waitress made it easy to overlook this and still have a great time.

The food was pretty good. I was satisfied. I was shocked when I looked at my receipt and saw how much I paid though. It was only 3pm. I expected a reasonable lunch price, but was charged for a premium lunch. Rip off. I only went there because I was a few minutes too late to get lunch at the Chinese buffet. What is it with these places ending lunch at 2 and 3 oclock?

Its a fun place to eat. Great variety for families with different tastes. Fair prices. Food is always fresh.

Food was acceptable, our waitress was fantastic which is why this is a 4 star instead of a 3. Feel like their selection isnt as good as it once was. They had potatoes and gravy in 2 places, and spaghetti with sauce right next to spaghetti and sauce. Also I miss the honey butter they used to have!

The manager or at least I think she is the manager. Her name is Jennifer, she is very friendly and knows how to get things done. I had stopped bringing my family there a while ago and we recently gave it another chance. I was happy I did so it was a pleasant experience with her greeting us at the door.

They have an awesome selection of food and desserts. And staff is are all very respectful and helpful. We love going there when we have to go to Albany from Schenectady thats her favorite eating spot.

I brought my sister here, it waa her FIRST time. I was craving steak, so i figured the buffet would be great. It was good, the food selections were GREAT and my craving for steak was satisfied.Of course, will return definitely in the future. Need to make the breakfast buffet on the weekend. My waitress could of been a bit more attentive.

The food could have been better. I went for dinner and the soup and salad ended up being the best after trying many items.

Went for takeout, place was very clean and prices were good. All of their stations were well stocked and fresh. They have a survey that enters you into a drawing.

I give this Golden Corral a 4 . The food was plentiful of course, however I did not like the cornbread as it was gooey, the meatloaf was too bland. The staff were good to very good. If youre hungry, the Golden Corral has plenty of variety. The carrot cake and peaches were excellent as was the salad bar. Its 15 and change pet person, so get your moneys worth, which is what I did!.

Love the food here even if it is served family style. The wait staff is quick and friendly. This is a great restaurant to take the whole family to! Recommend this place to everyone who loves a good meal! 😇

Golden corral is hard to beat, but its extra great on veterans day. Vets sharing a meal and lots of war stories.The staff has a great attitude even though they are overwhelmed by the crowds of vets.

I observed staff watching kids using their unsanitary hands picking food out of the buffet without using the utensils provided. Then, my waitress thought it more important to make cotton candy, instead of getting me my much needed refill. Oof. What a train wreck of a place. Never again!

The food was good but need a different variety, like wings or shrimp. The cashier made a $200 mistake. The place was very crowded and loud.

Great food. Wonderful service. Some of the patrons were definitely in need of a shower. The hookers down the road had more more clothes on then some of young teenagers in there.But we got some great food and good laughs while looking around the place.

It was extremely busy for a Wednesday night but the quality over all of much of the food was below standards. They did put brown sugar in the sweet potato casserole so it was very bitter the chicken and ribs were very dry and over cooked. They kept everything pretty well stocked and full for being so busy but as for quality Ive had much better there

I have been coming here for years and this is the place I judge other buffets by.Pretty much everything you would imagine a buffet to be. Has alot of seating and because its in a shopping plaza lots of parking. The sushi here is as good as any you pay much more $ for.

The food here can be pretty good. I always enjoy the steak and any Seafood items they have. Salad bar has a lot of variety. If you visit when its very busy expect lines for the more popular food and dirty bathrooms. When its not busy its fairly well maintained with the exception that they could always keep the bathrooms cleaner.

I enjoyed the food. Sometimes the food is too heavy in sodium however so I only go very seldonly. Staff is pretty good. I always try and leave a tip. The self service bar is endless with appetizing foods. A great family restaurant.

Very nice variety, something for everyone. Steaks, fried chicken, salad, tacos, meatloaf and seafood salad.Pies, pudding, fruit, ice cream and a chocolate fountain! Helpful staff are very attentive.

Food is ok. Most of it was fresh. Some things needed to be addressed. The Mac and cheese is usually good but this trip it wasnt. It needed to be changed. A good place to take whole family. Service is good. No steamed shrimp on buffet, which was a minus. I dont eat pork or beef that much. Overall visit was good.

This was place was an absolute train wreck! I have never been so disgusted as I was when I visited this location. The filth was unbearable, I’m pretty sure this location IS a health hazard. People dripping snot on the food line, waitresses clearing plates and not wiping down the table for the next guest. Food on the floor, kids grabbing food and putting it back, people putting their hands in the chocolate fountain and much more. The manager walking around as if there wasn’t a care in the world. I wouldn’t take my pet inside a place like this. To top it off while leaving there was vomit in the parking lot.. This place doesn’t even deserve one star.

The waiter Carol is the best. Food is pricey but pretty good. I miss the mini hot dogs they used to have during the lunch hours on the weekdays.

Dinner selection was really good! My husband and I like coming here on occasion, they only have a few downfalls they need to take care of ( Restaurant Interior ) but other then that, I am sure we will be back in the future.

The Golden Corral Buffet all you can eat is still the best place to take your family to eat and you meet great people to talk. The kids love this place. I was hoping for fried catfish like they serve in some of their other locations, but not this time. Thats okay. There was plenty of other comfort foods to choose from.

Very good restaurant with a wide spread of items in the buffet menu. The baby back ribs and baked salmon is a must try.

At times, Im so hungry that I cant decide on what to eat. For those days, I go to Golden Corral.In my previous Golden Corral review, I spoke about getting to the Corral early to avoid the inevitable crowd and the mess they create. But, lets face it, most cant schedule their mealtime like that.Dining in the Golden Corral at 2pm put me in the middle of 80+ H U N G R Y Christmas shoppers. Some of the food had been emptied out of the buffet. Most everything that was tasty needed a restock. The line perusing the food was shuffling the dance of the dead with glazed eyes and an all consuming hunger. I waited till the buffet cleared a bit.Im eating healthier now, and choose more vegetables than meat. The Golden Corral offers lots of both.After 3 plates of mostly vegetables, I left stuffed and ready to travel.The restaurant staff kept things clean and efficiently delivered my unsweetened iced tea without having to request a refill. The kitchen restocked ahead of the insatiable appetites of the food line.Everyone did their jobs well.For about the cost of a Fast Food burger and fries, I had a healthier lunch.

Not bad but we were charged for a soft drink when we only had one water. And the pizza for my son wasnt all that great. But the staff was wonderful and there was plenty of other choices for the Lil guy.

The kids enjoyed it so thats what matters!Our host that we had was great. The kitchen staff seemed like they were to busy hanging out having social hour to care about what they were doing.But, again overall it was ok.

This was my first time going to Golden Corral for breakfast. I enjoyed it and will go again soon. Loved the blueberry pancakes, the chipped beef and the turkey sausage was very tasty.

I usually have a good meal here but lately, some of the food was cold and unseasoned. No bowls for soup either at 6pm on a Saturday night. People need to check there kids to! Very rude and stepping in front of you when your getting food!

Surprised at the cost to begin with. And the restrooms were not in my opinion very clean or decent. The dining area was cold, and the food was working its way there. Most of the warm stuff was Luke warm, and granted when I did mention it, they replaced thise items but you could tell lots of the other items were not hot as well. The desserts were not tasty. And no soft ice cream available... I remember why we dont go there to eat...

Buffet food and the scene here is super good. this place will surprise you. fast, efficient, and courteous service. kinda of like a cafe in phoenix that i enjoyed.

Personally I call it a win when I go to a buffet with a group of people and no one gets sick. The food here was good, the staff was attentive enough to bring replace the dishes that got old. Would definitely recommend this buffet.

The servers were nice, however tables werent cleaned. The trays when you entered had food and gunk on them. The food wasnt very impressive. Just over all not impressive or overly enjoyable.

Centrally located on Central Avenue between Albany and Schenectady New York is this branch of the famous chain. You can always get a great meal at a reasonable price for the family or individual and top it off with mouthwatering desserts.

Its a buffet. There are gross people serving themselves food acting like nobody else is there and just coughing all over stuff.But the tables were piled in dishes waiting to be cleaned for awhile. And the carpet is disgusting and frayed and has holes in it. Wont be a place I ever to back to.

Dirty as hell. They gave us utensils that were not wash thoroughly. The trays are all wet. No table napkin and the staff were not helpful. In the past we used to tip the servers every time we went there but last mothers day, they were non existent so we never even tried to thank them for their service. It was chaos at Golden Corral. Great food but they are all dirty. Staff have no pride with their work. They should not be there.
