I just recently started going here for my oil chnages, and any other car service needs I have. I like the appeal of supporting a local shop over a chain auto shop. The prices are extremely affordable and reasonable. He wont screw you, just to earn more money.

With a friendly and knowledgeable staff that is very honest, Buffs Service on Sand Creek Rd. is a business I confidently bring my car to when I need work done. They communicate well while your car is in their shop and they WILL NOT do work that isnt warranted. Where many dishonest garages will tell you you need things that you dont, Buffs doesnt operate that way. They are very honest. I highly recommend taking your car to them.

They are truly wonderful honest mechanics they take great care of their customers, work hard and do an awesome job!

This review is long overdue! Been going to Buffs since the mid 90s. If you want an independently owned garage you can trust, this is it - they are no-frills, honest, decent, hard-working, skilled mechanics. You wont be sorry for taking your vehicle here.

My car broke down yesterday, and I was stuck in the middle of Sand Creek Road. My tow company towed to Buffs. They were closed at the time, but I left a note, and followed up the next morning. Much to my surprise, I did not need a new transmission, as originally expected. I needed a cable, which was damaged. Jerry did a wonderful job explaining to me exactly what was wrong, and got my car done before noon! I was thrilled, and even though hes a Yankees fan, I decided to write a review for him anyway! :) I was very very pleased with the customer service I received here. I would recommend them to anyone!

If there is a -5 these people would get it!!!! They asked me to make an appointment to be able to have an appointment made!!!!!I went there and wanted to have someone to just have a LOOK at the tires to see if I need to have them replaced. I was told that they CANNOT do that without an appointment. I agreed and asked for an appointment (the first was a WEEK later) and they asked me to DROP the car off and leave (WITHOUT telling me how long this will approximately take). When I asked when I approximately need to come back and pick it up they said they DO NOT KNOW.So basically I only asked for someone to see if the car needs anything in terms of tires to start with and the answer was that I needed to make an appointment to figure it out and then make another appointment to get it fixed AND no timeframe is given (i.e. to make an appointment to be able to have another appointment made!)Not to mention they have no sense of good customer service whatsoever!!!!!!!!!!! They are very RUDE and absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!NOT WORTH IT- take your business somewhere else. There are lots of great places you can go to for tires around the capital region. STAY AWAY!!!

My family always goes to this location for inspections, oil changes etc. The Buff family is really helpful and always gives a very fair price. Theyve helped me out with even finding cars when I was carless.
