I have been coming to Reptopia for quite some time now and Im always so excited to come in. The costumer service is amazing, the animals are amazing and its just the best place ever. I am a huge reptile enthusiast so this place is basically heaven. I have adopted quite a few animals from them and theyre just so perfect. Just came in on Christmas Eve to pick up my new leopard gecko and I couldnt have been more excited. I will always come here first for my reptile needs or when Im looking for a new friend to bring home :)

There animals look well taken care of! I talked to one of the people who runs the dragon rescue and he was very nice. Im new to bearded dragons and while I know some, I dont know all. He didnt talk down to me and gave his opinion on how to do set ups without making me feel dumb for doing it differently! Definitely a place Ill go back to for both feeders, equipment, and maybe even future babies!

The only issue I’ve had is that don’t always maintain the hours they advertise. I’ve gone out of my way to get there before they close, only to find that they’ve closed a half hour or more early. So definitely call first to confirm that they’ll be open.Aside from their hours, the staff has always been very friendly and helpful to me.

Great if u want bearded dragons... Not much else. Really wasnt impressed with the variety of reptiles or prices... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Went Here on 5/29/20 to get my first gecko and it was a great experience! We walked in needing an enclosure and the gecko. They helped us get set up with an enclosure and the necessities to get started. They were super helpful, welcoming and I will definitely be going here again for my reptile needs! Thank you Reptopia! Yall are awesome.

I only recently have visited this store. I wish I knew about it sooner. The staff really does care for the animals. They have a great variety of critters and creatures as well as different foods and equipment to care for these animals.I am so happy that I visited the store and I wish that I lived closer so that I can visited more often. For anyone looking for a reptilian equipment or possible pets or rescues I highly recommend looking into them.

Smell is awful, reptiles cages seem to havent been cleaned in weeks if not months, prices arent great. Overall disappointed in the selection and service, will not be returning.

Probably the best reptile/pet shop Ive been to. We have tried a ton of places and this tops all others. Reptopia really cares about the animals over their profit. Great prices too! Havent found cheaper frozen rats/mice from Portland to Salem

Reptopia is our new FAVORITE place! The owners are very knowledgeable, kind, and fun! Their store is amazing! They have a chameleon that is out of its cage and crawls across a vine in the store. They got to know us, what we were looking for, how much my son wanted to handle his pet, how much up keep we wanted to put into it, and how much money we were wanting to spend. Then, they helped us pick out the PERFECT reptile for us. AMAZING! They even had a great habitat kit at a super price in the store. No searching around or wondering if I had what I needed. I bought the kit that had it all for our new pet. Easiest, best pet purchase I have ever made!

I went in for some crickets for my praying mantis and they were extremely nice and helpful and even identified my old eastern box turtle what im trying to say is that reptopia is the best place to adopt and get bugs.

These guys are amazing. We bought two bearded dragons from petco and pretty everything they told us was wrong. Called reptopia and got all the right information from lighting to housing. Definitely will be coming in to fix all the issues and I really appreciate it. Not only that but they really care about their animals and make sure that their going to the right home. Definitely will be a regular customer

1st time in. Nice cozy little reptile stop in Corvallis. Mostly bearded dragons a couple ball pythons. Really clean. Staff was nice and courteous.

So to be honest there was a moment when I got mad and nearly walked out because he said we could not take the Gecko home because my niece did not know the temp of the cage. After talking a deep breath, because we had driven from Salem, I realized this man was willing to lose a sale to ensure the animal was properly cared for! That is amazing!!! So I walked back in, apologized and will follow his instructions so that our new pet will thrive.

Great place in town to buy bearded dragons and other reptiles. The owners and staff are willing to talk to you when they have time about what your reptiles need and make sure that when you buy one from them you have a set up that is right so the animal can thrive. I understand the cash only policy in place to keep the costs down. Ive adopted one rescue from them and will most likely look at buying my next reptile from them when Im ready.

Fantastic little reptile shop with a wide range of geckos, beardies, chameleons and they have a few snakes and frogs! They have everything you could need for a setup as well. I went in looking for a fly culture for our praying mantis and they had them for a very reasonable price. Overall the staff was lovely and very helpful, I would highly recommend checking them out.

After not being able to find any mourning geckos near PDX, I decided to give this place a call. They answered pretty quickly and were willing to answer all my questions with enthusiasm and confidence, ensuring that I was speaking to someone who was more knowledgeable with that area. It was a great set up and had an awesome selection of reptiles and any extra supplies, Ill definitely continue to shop here despite the commute as they are amazing which made it worth it.10/10 I love absolutely in love with my geckos!

We came here to purchase a bearded dragon for our sons birthday. First thing to be aware of is this place is not just a reptile store, but also a rescue and rehabilitation facility. Because of this, the store has strick policies and does not sell any reptile to just anyone. They will not release a creature into your possession unless its habitat has been set up and the environment, think temp and humidity, are stable. They also require the right size enclosure per the age and type of reptile your are purchasing. To the unexpected this can seem annoying but it also shows that they care about their creatures well being and are more than happy to hold your purchase overnight while you verify your enclosure is ready. Having owned many reptiles, but certainly no expert, I can say this is a great place to purchase from and you can expect healthy broods to choose from. Just be prepared before expecting to take a new creature home.

This place is hands down the BEST. Troy and Veronica know their stuff! We won’t go anywhere else for our reptiles food! We have even brought home a few as well.

Spent an hour in the Albany location looking to get a few feeders. Was told that they were not sure if they would have time for that service despite the shop being nearly empty most of the time, and one of the employees being on their phone half the time. While I will continue to go to this location I feel they should put customers that dont just want reptiles, first.

Honestly wish I could give this place more then 5 stars as they are truly remarkable! Every time we have been in we have been met with exceptional customer service and tons of very healthy critters! Always a pleasure to visit this place and well worth the 3 hour drive from Coos Bay! Looking forward to returning soon!! The customer service here is amazing! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Feeders are all healthy and the animals we purchased here are healthy and happy. They are always upfront with any questions or unknowns. They definitely want people to have a good experience as reptile/amphibian owners. Prices on accessories are pretty good too depending on what you need. Their new store is super clean, welcoming, and professional. Highly recommend them! The only down side is the limited hours and cash only, but really isn’t that big of deal.

Made a 40 minute drive so I didn’t have to buy a chameleon from petsmart/co and it was so worth it! I got a very beautiful and friendly boy and the staff immediately helped me find what I was looking for. They asked for a photo of my enclosure I had which made me so beyond happy that they really cared about their animals. I got to know about my guys personality and they gave me a couple tips and made sure I was well informed on chameleon care. The two people there were so kind and informed. I wish I lived closer so I could visit back more!

My partner and i have been coming here for all our reptile needs for years. Amazing service super friendly people always happy to help. BUT MY FAVORITE PART!! They will not hesitate to tell you NO when buying a reptile. They genuinely care for the animals they sell and take in and if they think your housing is not suitable. so make sure to do your research or better yet head down to the shop and ask im sure they will have everything you need for building the correct home for your scaly friends!! PLUS WAYYY CHEAPER THAN NASTY PETCO!!!

My favorite place to go in Albany. The staff Remember you and show real feelings. They actually care about the animals they care for. They save animals and feed them on there dime. I look and ask about the Savannah everytime my family and I go in and love seeing the chameleon out on the vine going across the store so look up if you walk in and look around cuz there is always something cool in this store :)

Very spendy.

Disappointed once again in another Oregon pet retailer, selling the incorrect life stage of cricket. In this case, immature Banded crickets, being sold as large when they were anything but. Since it happens frequently, It may be just ignorance I dont know. Retailers need to realize that prey size is crucial when feeding some exotics. I will use them for other purposes but then had to make an extra trip to Petco.

I have not visited yet, though I am hoping to soon. However I did notice in the photos posted here that there’s an axolotl on gravel. Which can be very dangerous as they can get impacted :( fine sand substrate or bare bottom is best. Hoping you see this and are able to fix it. Thanks and looking forward to visiting!

Just went in today and spoke with the man and woman who run the place. Very knowledgeable and helpful as I am not used to the area and what is ok for a leopard gecko. This is a wonderful place and is ran by beautiful people, ask about their bearded dragon rescue and donate! I will be back!

Im a bit late to put this review, but I had a very good experience here when I got a beautiful juvenile male hognose snake who was and still is very active and healthy along with some pieces of cork for my other terrariums. The staff are very polite and well read, and the animals are all healthy. I regretfully had to skedaddle sooner than preferred due to personal issues, but I hope to stop back in next time Im in that area.
