I absolutely love my nails! I moved here from Colorado Springs and needed a new place. Autumn was able to fit me in last minute, before I went out of town for work AND she did an AMAZING JOB!!! I chose Tapered and Textured for all of my bridal needs and the needs of my bridal party. They were amazing hands down. They took the time to pamper their customers, were friendly, and worked with our changing needs. Even better they took the time to listen to the customer (myself) to execute what I wanted. Love..this is the place to go for that hair cut.. Such a welcoming environment...and The hair stylist listens to how you want a cut.. Second time and I will go back to have my eye brows done just found out she does waxing ...and she has ladies that do nails .. One stop get your hair, nails and waxing all in one place .. Pricing is reasonable...and jewelry for that extra pick me up ..

I called to schedule an appointment around 11:00am, they said they could get me in at 4:30pm. I arrived at 4:30, all the lights were off and the door was locked. I attempted calling (as the sign on the door stated, due to COVID-19). I called 5 times, no answer. I had never been to Tapered and Textured before, and was excited to try out a new salon and hair dresser. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere and won’t go back to Tapered and Textured.

Im always pleased when I get my hair done here. Salley is very talented, hard working and compassionate. She treats everyone with dignity and kindness and its important to her that the customer is happy with whatever service they came in for. Once you have been here a few times you realize that what Salley has to offer is more than just a salon because she genuinely cares for others and it shows in the way she speaks and how she treats people.

I should probably do 2 reviews (5 stars for my pedi), 2 stars for my cut (nothing fancy, I just needed a basic trim, but I left with an uneven cut and some pieces of hair that were significantly longer throughout. Would def. go back for a pedi though.

I originally posted one star because a lady by the name of Jovi who is apparently 3 weeks new took on my hair. My hair was broken and quite damaged and Jovi said she could fix it. I walked out completely unhappy with how she dyed my hair and didnt cut it whatsoever to blend the breakage. I was literally in tears. BUT I called Sally and she agreed to fix it in which she did such an amazing job on my hair! Completely transformed it into such beautiful hair that I was about in tears again, but happy tears this time! 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend going to Sally herself! She knows what she is doing!

If I could, Id rate this place with 0 stars.I took my boyfriends sister in yesterday to get a full set for her birthday and she was pleased when we left because this was her second time getting a full set.I am a nail tech myself and I was asking questions about the products Sam was using the entire time and how long she had done nails for. She was shaky the entire time and her impliments were sitting in a dirty container of discaminant. When she was done she told me that if her nails broke or something happened to them that she would fix them for free.My boyfriends sister showed me her nails this morning and the product was cracked and falling apart at the cuticle so we decided to go back in and showed her what happened to her nails and when we did Sally (the manager) decided that it was her place to say something. I asked politely if she could fix her nails and I asked if she could soak them off and just do a clear acrylic powder, instead of the hot pink colored powder that she used, and so I wanted her to do the acrylic and just polish them with gel. Sam told me that she couldnt do that because she had an appointment to do someones hair. Sally then proceeded to interrupt and asked me if I was a nail technician and I told her yes, she back off a little after that because she understood where I was coming from as a nail tech. Sam told me that I could either have 3 of her nails, that were messed up, fixed or she could give me my money back. Sally told Sam that she shouldnt give me my money back because she did the work on the nails and Sam still was willing to do so. Sally asked me why I didnt just do her nails and I told her that I live in denver and that I didnt have my products with me.I then proceeded to tell them that I would like my money back and I left as I heard the nail techs continue to run their mouths.As a person that works in customer service and the nail industry, Im positive that you are never suppose to argue and put down a customer. Ever.Sam and Sally did not handle the situation with care. They lost customers and they will continue to if they treat customers like that when it was their mistake.I am very dissatisfied with their work and how they treat paying customers.Worst nail salon Ive ever been to.

Sally gives some of the best male haircuts in Alamosa. Super reasonable prices and really easy to just chat with.
