From my first inquiry, during the application process and through move-in, both Samantha and Brian exceeded all my expectations and made the often stressful process of moving so easy! Our apartment was in tip-top shape when we walked through the door of our beautiful, new home. Brian and Samantha work together as a friendly and capable team and make apartment living feel like home. Samantha explains all of the policies rather than dictates them, goes beyond with my last-minute requests and makes everyone feel welcomed and respected. Brian, too, is an extremely hard-worker who goes out of his way to deliver packages, unlock doors, keeps the place clean and answers repair requests right away. They shine brightly as the leaders of our community.
Samantha and Bryant has been fascinated since the first day we met. The application process was a breeze and we were able to move in sooner than expected. We now have lived in the Tower for almost two months and still trying to organize and fit in. The management team has only been making the process easier for timely responding to all our requests while being thoughtfully considerate as well.
I love Towers, and am so happy and proud to call it my new home! :) Samantha the Community Manager and Brian, who handles maintenance are both extremely kind, always willing to listen, and quickly assist with any issue big or small. From my very first interaction with Samantha at Towers, it was night and day with other experiences while looking for a new place to move. Samantha was always attentive to any question, very thorough and detailed to her answers and information, and made the process so seamless and reassuring. From day one, I felt like I was meant to be here and in good-hands because of the professionalism shown by Samantha and Brian.I really appreciate that any maintenance or issue is always resolved quickly, and tenants are given a heads up for any changes or improvements being made, with timeframe. Im also grateful for reminders where to put things for trash, (LOVE the near daily trash pick-up outside your door), and community events,.The premise is gorgeous. You cannot ask for a better location. Everything you could need or want is literally across the street or at most a quick ten minute walk. For parking - It is such a win to feel that much safer and convenient with having gated parking, security, 24 hr maintenance, two elevators, etc.I chose the luxury 1- Bedroom Apartment and have to say how incredibly impressed I am, as well as my family and friends for modernity and space. Everyone who comes to my place comments how much space there is, plenty of storage, and a beautiful modern kitchen. I also LOVE my accent wall which only makes it that much more beautiful. The outside patio is spacious and perfect to spend time outside and make your own. When I first moved in everything was newly painted, washed down, professionally cleaned, etc. especially during these times of covid, I wanted to find a place I felt secure was taking it seriously, with cleanliness and precautions. I felt/still feel reassured by our community and staff. The website for Towers I want to add also makes messaging, reserving times/spaces, community events, and paying rent a breeze and completely hassle free.Ive loved my experience from start to finish with Towers. Samantha and Brian are the absolute best, and I feel very safe that everything is taken care of. They are also so friendly and easy to talk to, so I feel ready to ask questions when I have them. I can see myself happily being here for a long time.
My husband and I lived at the Tower Apartments in Alameda for approximately three years. We were empty nesters and had owned our previous homes so renting was something we hadn’t done in decades. We loved our apartment and the community feel of the Tower. We only moved because we were able to work remotely and owned a condo in Hawaii. If we ever decide to move back to Alameda, we would definitely move back to the Tower! Samantha and Brian are a great team and we enjoyed working with them. They are both very friendly and hard workers. They were always responsive and helpful when needed and care about the Tower and the residents.
My wife’s 91 year-old aunt and 82 year-old mother lived together in the Tower Apartments for 5 years. Due to their ages, they both needed special attention from time to time and Samantha and Brian couldn’t have been more understanding and accommodating to their needs. Samantha was a delight to deal with whether it was in person on our visits or on the phone. Her approach to managing the Tower Apartments was always professional, but it was her positive attitude and friendly demeanor that stood out. She truly cared about the residents!
I recently had to leave my home in Tower Apartment Homes for an out of town move after 8 wonderful years.. I highly recommend living here - can’t be beat for convenience to the beach, shopping, and Alameda living! The team here- Samantha and Brian are exceptional and make living here so comfortable and fun! The sunsets over the bay are breathtaking and Tower boasts the roomiest apartments I’ve seen - and all pet friendly!
I am coming up on my third year here at Tower and I am so pleased to call Tower my home. The staff, Samantha and Brian are exceptional! They truly make Tower feel like home. The location is great as it’s just a 5 minute walk to the shopping center, the beach is just across the street and so close to public transportation. If you are looking for a place that takes care of their building and their residents then this is the place for you!
I’ve been here a Tower for over a year now!!! Samantha the leasing agent is so nice and professional!!! Brian the Maintenace Supervisor is so amazing!!! Overall I think they work great! as a team. Being that it’s only the 2 of them for this property. Brian and Samantha work hard to keep it clean around here. I appreciate the both of them for making my stay wonderful!!
We rented at Tower for a year, and had a great experience. The location is perfect (beach, shopping, restaurants, etc...), and the price was reasonable. Our unit was not yet renovated, so it was a little outdated, but they happily did some updates at our request. The apartment was very spacious, and maintenance requests were handled quickly. It was clear that the property was well cared for, as they always seemed to be making improvements to the units and common areas. The grounds were clean and nicely maintained. The staff (Matt and Xavier) were great too. They were always available, friendly and eager to help. They also organized regular community events. One other thing we really enjoyed while living here was the ease of having packages delivered. This has been a huge struggle in other places weve lived. Overall, I would recommend Tower!
Loved the location and the newly renovated apartment was so nice. Had trouble with the building itself being so old (leaky pipes, chronic issue) and the usual Alameda petty thefts/crimes of opportunity, but they do have some surveillance. Staff was super responsive.
Updated: on-site manager, Samantha, is great. Hopefully they find a good replacement for their long-time handyman who left. Rent is not cheap and the owners support renter-unfriendly local political campaigns, but thats mostly true of rent and landlords in Alameda. Overall its a great location and it was a good experience.
At the present time I have lived here for almost 3 years. I will start by saying that, yes, the exterior is a little bit dated as the other complexes on the street have been renovating over the last 2 years. The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired. However, my 1br apartment is one of the largest offered on the street, I am across from the beach, a stones throw away from Safeway and bus stops, a 3/4 mile walk from downtown restaurants or movies, and can go outside any night to view the SF skyline across the bay.Where this location stands out from many others which I have lived in is in the property manager and maintenance. Sam and Matt are extremely professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work and speak with. Issues are quickly addressed and resolved. Communication is consistent and they are both extremely responsive. Out of all of the locations I have lived, they rank at the top of the list.
Xavier was very attentive during my pre application and post move in process!! He was very thorough and conscientious of what I needed in a temporary home. My experience has been so pleasant that I am considering making it permanent.
This is a great place to call home. I lived in a one bedroom on the 4th floor with fabulous views of water and SF skyline !! resort living at its best. very safe and quiet. Xavier & Matt are great and go to great lengths to make residents feel at home and happy. They host wonderful community get togethers and toil in the kitchen for hours to prepare and present the meal - it is very well done. Had many many happy times here, sad to leave. New job in Mountain view and the commute is forcing me to move out. I will miss this place and the lovely folks. Will definitely come back if I have a chance.
I recently rented at Tower Apartments a few months back. Although I had to cancel my rental as things changed in my personal life, I fell in love with the property and the staff. Brittany was such an amazing help that the transition of relocating felt like it was going to be such a smooth ride. She assisted with all the questions I had and presented the community in such a lovely fashion. I had the opportunity of meeting Matt, their maintenance man, and he was most helpful as well. Brittany was very understanding when I had to cancel my application and told me I was welcome to return at any time. I would recommend this comunity to anyone interested in moving to Alameda. They couldnt go wrong moving to Tower Apartments! :-)
We Moved in five months ago, and have been very happy here. Awet and Mac are helpful, prompt and friendly.
The Towers used to be a wonderful place to live...Unfortunately it has gone to Hell in a hand basket very quickly! Their motto is Where your experience matters and that used to be true. The previous manager Brittany truly cared about her residents, She lived in the community and her experience was our experience. Since she has left and the new manager has been here it has gone down hill at a rapid pace. She does not live in the community and it is obviously just a pay check for her. I recently came home from vacation to find a note posted on my door...It read:Dear Tower Residents,We (funny you would include yourself...YOU dont live here) are experiencing a high level of vandalism in the Tower common areas. Damages include:-repeated (human) urination in the rear elevator-ripped done postings and signage-destroyed permanent signage (fire exit plans, etc)-abandoned feces in the hallways-graffitiit then ask for us to contact management if we witness these acts. These acts are borne out of sheer frustration and are passive/aggressive manifestations of not being heard or having needs met by said management. She signed the letter...Tower Management. She also failed to mention the thefts that have taken place that the residents are posting in the common areas that are not being addressed.I slipped and almost fell due to oil not being taken care of in the garage last month and went down today and almost did it again because it has not been addressed.I truly dont even know her name...I have never seen it in writing! Its something like Awett...Odett something like that.Since she has arrived the main elevator has been down...the first communication she has made about it to us residents was September 12th. That is at least two months of no communication and a building full of very frustrated residents and even then it was vague and matter of fact. She only cares about the bottom line and obviously hasnt figured out that having a rapport and compassion with the residents goes a long way in keeping a sustainable bottom line....Living here has become a nightmare. the only pleasant thing is the view and Matt our maintenance man. I truly feel for him because her lack of compassion has created more work for him just trying to clean up the messes. It is a shame that she only cares about her paycheck and doesnt realize that there is a human side to the job. It used to be a lovely place to live...I would advise you to steer clear of this building at all cost. It is definitely not worth the price we pay...
Awet is awsome! We rented the apartment site unseen because I was transferred from Canada. With all of the foreign papework and references I thought it was going to be a lot of trouble but Awet has made it seemless. Awet and Mat are very responsive to any issues or concerns that we have in the building as well. I plan to live here for years to come!
