Customer service is awful. Dont bother going in the afternoons, either the customer service is awful or you cant get any help. If you do happen to find someone they go in the opposite direction. There are 2 or 3 people at this location who really take their job seriously and go out of their way to help. Lowes you need to do better with customer service.

What is happening with such horrible and unprofessional delivery! Thousands of dollars of flooring tiles delivered last week to our daughters new home in Alabaster. The delivery guy failed to call with a “heads up, I am on my way to deliver “ but sure did call from the drive way. He was furious and so rude because it took her 17 minutes to get there. I’m his anger. he piled the 109 cartons too close to the garage door where the sensor would not allow closure. She had to pull two Painters from their jobs to help her move the heavy cartons. Here we are today having several new appliances delivered by Lowe’s again and AGAIN no “heads up” so the flooring guys had to receive the thousands more dollars in appliances!!!! What is wrong with you guys!!!! Lesson learned Lowe’s. You must really want to fail totally.

Lowes only got 3 stars because we dealt with an extremely rude employee. He told us to go to customer service to get help. When we went to customer serviced we were ignored some before a nice, loud lady waited on us. On the plus side, we got exactly what we were there for. We found a good deal on a grill and a nice gentleman helped us load it. Over all we are pleased with our experience. Some employees just need a lesson on customer service.

We normally purchase a fresh cut Christmas tree every year. This year we decided to purchase an artificial Christmas tree and Lowes had a nice variety along with some good prices. The checkout was fast .... my only disappointment was the variety of lights available. Our tree isnt pre lit and we wanted multifunctional led Christmas lights for our tree.

I ordered an American Standard toilet on line. It was curbside pickup. DeAndre in curbside pickup is awesome. His customer service is great and he had my order ready quickly so it could be picked up in 2 hours. Just refreshing to find this kind of service in todays world. Kudos DeAndre. Ruth Cox.

The only friendly people here are in the paint department. All of the people in the customer service department are unwilling to help when you’re standing there right in front of them, they ignore you and can’t even say “Hi I’ll be with you in a few minutes” while you’re just standing there confused. Wish they had better customer service all around and asked you if you need help.

I ordered a stove from here. They said it would arrive Friday August 6th to my house, it did not. I called Lowe’s twice for them to check on it and they left me on hold and hung up on me both times for no reason. The third time I called, the guy said my order was in the delivery truck and that he would call me back to let me know after he checked on it, he did not. August 7th, I called them again to check on it since it still has not arrived and they said it would arrive on August 9th. I told them that I really needed it so I asked if I could cancel the delivery and just come and pick it up at the store. They said it sounded good. Well, I came and had to wait 30 minutes for them to check if it was in stock. It was not. The employees then told me it would arrive August 11th. No one even sent me an email or call me to update me on my order. So now, I’ve cancelled my order because all they did was reschedule, reschedule, reschedule.

This Lowes has the worst customer service. I have been left waiting 40 minutes for somebody to come. I have been here three times and every single time I have to wait at least 20 minutes to get somebody to help. One time, I had called on the phone and over the intercom 16 times before I got help with shelves. I was generous and gave two stars because they treat veterans great and I am a veteran.

My wife and I are in a Lowe’s store at least once per week if not more often than that and spend many thousands on our Lowe’s card each year.Two days ago we were in this store #2525 in Alabaster, AL getting some lumber for another building project. We walked around and found some of the materials we needed and eventually found a 1” x 20” x 8’ edge glued board that was the final item needed. It was not I. The correct location so I used my Lowe’s app on my phone to do the barcode scan function to find the price. The price came up as $24.13 and that was agreeable with me so I loaded it up on our cart and proceeded to lug it around the store to go check out. When we got up to the register and had all of our items scanned I noticed that the 8’ edge glued board rang up at nearly double the price the app said it was and showed $45.13 instead of $24.13. I told the cashier, Jennifer, that the price was incorrect and showed her the price shown by the Lowe’s app. Jennifer proceeded to argue with me and tell me that they could not honor “online prices” but this was not an “online price,” this was the price the actual Lowe’s app showed. I told her that the price in the Lowe’s app is supposed to be honored in-store if the item is offered in-store and is not an online only item. She proceeded to argue with me about it so I simply asked her to manually adjust the price to meet the proper price offered within the app. Jennifer told us she could not adjust the price to have it meet the price shown in the app and proceeded to tell me she didn’t know how I was able to pull up a cheaper price on it so I went back into the app, canceled out of the screen showing the price and went back to the barcode scan feature and scanned it again, once more it showed up at $24.13. She continued to say she could not honor that price so I asked if a manager could come adjust the price to honor the price stated within the app. Jennifer proceeded to tell us that she was a manager and that she was not going to do that. The whole time she was very rude and short acting as though it was preposterous for us to even suggest honoring the price in the app. Since she would not honor the proper price we left that board there and did not have time to go to another Lowe’s to get that same board that night.Last night after work we went to the next closest Lowe’s store that was 12 miles farther from us than store #2525 and got the exact same 1” x 20” x 8’ edge glued board for the $24.13 price shown within the app (photo included for reference).The entire time we were in the lumber department in store #2525 before having to deal with the rude manager Jennifer arguing about Lowe’s policy and stating the policy incorrectly there were quite a lot of Lowe’s employees just hanging around in the lumber department, playing with the forklift, and cutting up with friends that were not Lowe’s employees. It is truly astonishing that Jennifer has made it to the point of manager position (unless she lied about being a manager) within Lowe’s without the ability to 1. Know Lowe’s price-matching guarantee policy, 2. Treat customers with respect and not argue with them when the proof is right there, and 3. Not have the ability to manage the employees horsing around within the store.This is truly a disgrace to the Lowe’s brand. I am sure we will continue to shop at Lowe’s, albeit maybe not as much now, but we will definitely avoid shopping at store #2525 specifically even if we have to drive farther because if that is the way a store manager treats customers that is not a place I want to be, and I am sure my fellow contractors will share my sentiments.

I am very disappointed in my local Lowes. I found myself in need of a freezer this morning. My 35 year old one had quit. I went on the website and found one that I thought would work. Actually I had four I was looking at. Funny thing is, not one of them was in stock at my local store and if I had it delivered it would be May 10th before it would arrive. Not helpful in an emergency. I had to go to a competitor to find one in stock in my price range that I could get today. I realized we didnt have a hand truck so I went to the store to buy one and there was one that was way too big for what we needed and 3 that were maybe good to haul a few boxes. That was it. The one I was looking at on line wasnt really expensive but it wasnt cheap either. They freezers were all represented on your floor, I realize you have a limited amount of space but if its on your floor you should at least have one available for immediate purchase. And now your system will not let me post my comment!

It would be nice if they actually enforced the mask rule both with their customers AND their employees (hello Wild Bill in the doors department). My father is immune-compromised and doesnt get out much now. He likes to go to Lowes so that he can buy stuff to fiddle around with around the house. But over the last 4 or 5 months the employees and patrons of the Alabaster Lowes have been so negligent about wearing masks that I wont dare bring him there anymore. Luckily I am equally as close to the Lowes on Valleydale and those folks seem to have a little bit more sense.

Made a visit to Lowe’s alabaster alabama today to purchase. Purchase was sink and supplies to install. OMG. Everything was in stock. Problem was checkout. Must have been rookie day. By far the WORST. Mind you I have been shopping at Lowe’s for 30 years all over the USA. My advice avoid this location during rookie time. 8-10 am. Try the Prattville location if you are in the area. It’s the Tom Brady of Lowe’s. PISS POOR.

Was asking about a grill that had a price sticker on it and then come to find out the guy helping me ripped the stocker off and said its not for sale. It was miss priced i need to get the updated sticker. So it went from 199.99 to 449.99. I asked about honoring the price that is on it. The guy replied Im sorry we dont do that. It must have been a new guy playing pranks on us.I thought a company was suppose to honor what price is on the product. I guess Im wrong and they can bait and switch all they want. I love doing gardening projects and rely on Lowe’s for many supplies. I find it unfortunate that there is never anyone to load heavy things in you car from the garden center. For example I bought 400lbs of river rock I am 5’2 109 lbs I loaded all the rock my self on the cart then paid for it, was never asked if I needed help loading it into my car. So I then loaded it into my car by myself. I needed more supplies today but I am to sore today to go back for more it’s ridiculous next time I will do curbside pick up. Signed bummed I can’t go back for more today to finish up.

I just had the absolute worst experience at a Lowes I have ever had before. With the exception of the gentleman in the paint department who has helped me before and I have always found the paint department to be the only worthwhile Department in the store. The cashiers are obnoxious. Very unfriendly and dressed like theyre going down to the hood for a block party. 4 inch hoop earrings and a metallic gold shirt just does not seem appropriate. Todays experience was with pricing that did not match what was clearly marked on the display item and the description under the item. Pictures are posted of why I had an issue with the item ringing up at the regular price. It obviously should have been sold for the advertised price but I will also take that up with someone at a higher level than part-time Saturday help. Some of the most ignorant people I have ever seen in my life calling themselves floor managers. The guy Doc in lighting could do no more than stare at the shelves and make an excuse about someone not changing out something. For years I was completely devoted to shopping at Home Depot, but Lowes opened this store and it was convenient . I dont know if home depot will be any better when I go back there, but I cannot continue to shop at Lowes. They seem to be hiring the dregs or maybe this is the wave of the future.

Had great help in the store, great assistance from Trevor and our cashier. Delivery- completely different story. I was scheduled for 7/9, told they’d come between 8AM-8PM. No one showed or called. I called the store and was told a manager would call me back. I never heard back. I tried calling multiple times after, and constantly was transferred between departments every time. I was told I was rescheduled for 7/23, and I would receive a call the day before to confirm. I hadn’t heard anything, so I called the store with no answer. I called again the day of my scheduled delivery, and discovered I was not on the schedule. After speaking with an associate for 30 minutes, they finally found my order and told me I was already delivered to on the 9th. When they tried to schedule a day, I told them I worked that day and I needed to be 100% sure they were coming before I requested off of work. They then told me a different date. I have been scheduled 3 times now and it has been over a month since I was told my appliances were in stock and would be delivered to me ASAP. I understand mistakes happen, but this has been extremely stressful and frustrating, not to mention I’ve already paid for these items. I have always loved Lowe’s, but the Alabaster Lowe’s has let me down and I definitely will never make any purchases there again. Disappointed because they were so kind in store, but it seemed no one cared about my situation once I wasn’t delivered to. No one ever called me, I had to reach out to them multiple times in order to get an answer.

First experience, I went in to Lowes to buy a washer. Stood there for almost 5 minutes while the worker played on his phone. (Early morning no customers around) it said it was in stock online. So went to Home Depot unfortunately it was in stock. So came back and made him go look for it because he said he didn’t have it. So I left ordered it online and got it. Then today went to get a door with 26 in stock. Employee Webb was ringing a customer up while he saw us waiting to ask a question, he immediately tried to walk away so we said excuse me, we need to get a door and he said he doesn’t have 1 of the 26 doors it says it has on hand. So I tried to order online again since it worked with washer. Nope they don’t have 1 of the 26 doors online. The girl that called me tried to send me to Homewood location because it says they have them in stock. I told her to cancel because it said Alabaster had 26 in stock. So Appliance and Millwork dept don’t have customer service skills. This store manager needs to find a new line of work because leadership isn’t a trait if this is how multiple depts act.

Had an issue with a item out of stock that showed as in stock on my online order. Then I met Amy L in customer service over the phone. She was wonderful! It took her a little time to resolve but she made me feel valued as a customer. I appreciate that.Update from later in the day. I still think Amy deserves her 5 stars but when I arrived at the store several hours later the circus began. Order not ready. No sweat, took a seat to wait. Three more customers walked in while I was waiting. Orders not ready LOL. After about a 30 min wait told item Amy subbed for me was out of stock (online showed 9 in stock). In fact there were NO gas chainsaws in stock at all! Online system appears to be totally useless. Invested 2.5 hours of my time with you to walk away empty handed. So disappointing.

If you buy a washer and dryer thats in stock i suggest you figure out a way to pick it up as quickly as possible because they will probably sell your paid for set to someone else before your scheduled delivery date like they did ours, then couldnt even call on our scheduled delivery date to say they wont be delivered. So basically i got no washer and dryer and wasted a day off work for nothing. I got a refund immediately and now left trying to find something else.

I came in lowes this morning 7-22-20 to get one piece of tile flooring( Ive been waiting 2 weeks for them to remove it from the top shelf. ) I paged for help 3 times and asked someone for help twice and waited for 45 min. I had to carry a ladder from the other side of the store and climb to the top and get it myself. I left 2 stars to apologize for not carrying the ladder back. I hope no one gets hurt.While I waited I kept hearing other people paging for help several times. After I climbed down and walked to the registers all the employees was standing around the registers up front. You shouldnt have to ask someone to do there job either. This store has been giving my daughter the run around on her delivery since June 23rd. She has been told her order does not exist to repeatedly not delivering the items for installation. Sunday Morning June 14, 2020 I arrived at this Lowes store in Alabaster, Alabama at approximately 10:45am to pick up an online order. I had purchased a zero turn lawnmower.It took ONE HOUR and 15 MINUTES to get the lawnmower loaded on my trailer.I had to go to the back of the store and assist the store manager, Phillip, with starting the mower and driving it on my trailer. Total break down in customer service. I left my name and number with office personnel and asked for the location manager to contact me to discuss this complete disaster in customer service. As of Tuesday, 6/16/20 at 12:45 pm I have not heard from him.

Nine times out of ten, I get an over-and-above attitude from the employees at this location. The bathrooms are kept clean. The aisles are organized. The lumber yard is kept full and help is always a shout away. Their garden area provides plants that are well kept. They even have nice Christmas trees around Christmas.Only once, recently, have I had a bad experience where an employees expertise was incorrect and forceful. I explained my needs, and he blatantly rejected my needs. That being said, Ive not seen this gentleman around in quite some time. Problem solved? Shop here!

This location has major communication problems with customers and delivery. Do not order from this store if you need appliances delivered that you purchased. Phone rings off the hook with no one answering. When the phone is answered the department does not pick up after being on hold over 10min. The only way to communicate is in person and that is ludicrous! When our order was scheduled on in stock merchandise a month out 1/3 items were delivered. The other two were left in the stockroom. Why weren’t they all delivered? We were told they were out of stock. Then when we visited the store we were told they were in the back. When delivery rescheduled they were never delivered. Delivery lady told us they were labeled pick up. The right arm has no clue what the left arm is doing and where is the brains of the store....I don’t know they don’t answer the phone. Geez. Terrible communication with customers. Don’t do it y’all.

Lowes has been busy every day for weeks. This was I Saturday sunny and warm and the store was packed. But they only had two registers open. Never saw anyone who appeared to be management no one made any effort to call more cashiers. Lines at the registers were so long they had the Isles blocked. I along with some others gave up and just left.
