We had the unfortunate experience of a pet using our furniture as a toilet, and living in an apartment its always a hassle moving furniture in and out let alone throwing something away. Junk King was super convenient in that I set the furniture outside and they came to grab it all without me having to leave work! Super friendly, fast, and convenient. Will definitely use them again!

We had a pickup scheduled for a 9 to 11 am window and they were actually able to make it at 8 am because of an opening. The two gentlemen who picked up our furniture were extremely professional and efficient. I would and more than likely will use them again.

I have to say, Junk King makes it easy. I contacted through the phone app by sending a photo of the sofa I wanted to discard. Response was fast, just about 15 minutes and my appointment was setup at the time I wanted it. They stayed in touch prior to the pickup, came on time, were very professional and courteous. The team of 3 were awesome; they were patient, careful & thorough. The fridge barely fit through the door frames we had to remove 4 doors at the house to get it to go through. We ended up removing small screws on the back of the fridge, some of the tubing coming out of the back & even the brackets in the bottom front that held the fridge doors.

I called Junk King on Monday, 8/9 and spoke with a representative in great length about the things that I needed to have removed. I told her a bed, dresser, chest, mattress and box spring. She provided me with the quote and scheduled for the movers to come the next day. When the two men arrived, I noticed they had no paperwork and was not aware of what exactly they were suppose to pick up. So, I walked them to the bedroom and told them exactly what to get. This was during normal business hours, so I was working on my computer from home while they were moving. One of the gentleman said, Im putting this other stuff that were not getting in the closet of the bedroom. I said, okay. At the end of the move, he went through some explanation and said that he was sorry for putting the dent in the wall and took $50 off the total bill. Not only did he put a dent in the wall, but theres a black line going down the wall as well. The maintenance team told me that to repair it, it would be close to $200 because it has to be repaired, repainted and I have textured walls. Later, I go to my closet and notice that my ottoman and the decor that was sitting on my ottoman is missing. NO WHERE to be found! They took items that I did not tell the representative on the phone would be included AND after I specifically pointed out in the bedroom what I wanted removed. The total cost was $298 but they said the most they could take off for the wall is $50. This is ridiculous! I literally walked them to the room, and told them what I wanted removed. I pointed to EACH item. They repeated it back to me and still took stuff that I should not have been removed. Wow! I wouldnt recommend this company at all. If I can not get this resolved with Junk King directly, I will be contacting my insurance company to see if I can file a claim to get them involved and then go after Junk King directly to be reimbursed. I shouldnt have to pay for the services, replacing items and paying for damages they made.

The worker were nice and done a good job but they charged way too much for what was hauled away.A fairly small load of carpet that would have fit in a small pickup truck is all that was picked up and was charged $200.I think they took advantage of my wife because she didnt know the value of what the charge should have been and they knew thatI will never use them again if thats the way they do business. The charge should have been around $100 and they should have gotten more.

These guys were great. They took care of my old mattress. They were able to come early (called first) and were in and out in about 7 minutes. They took the mattress off the bed and hauled it out without a hitch - or a scratch, a bump, or anything broken. I am so glad to know of this service!

I do not recommend this service, unless money is no object to you. I made my appointment online, entitling me to $20 off any removal of $99, or more. I didnt expect to need it, as all that needed removing was one, thin queen mattress and one cheap queen frame. They quoted me $98 dollars, not only ripping me off, but also ensuring I couldnt use THE COMPANYS OWN offer. Two guys came, and it took them collectively longer to charge my card than it did for one to load the matress and frame by himself. The only reason they arent getting one star is because they were almost two hours early (it took them six minutes from calling to get to my house), but that only means they were already in the area and could have gotten away with charging me less for that reason. If that had been the case, Id be on here giving a five star review and recommending them to people. Also, neither employee was wearing a mask, so, if I contract coronavirus, this company will be near the top of my litigation list. Thanks for showing up early!

Very professional and friendly. They were careful to ensure that nothing was damaged when removing the large item from my home. They also wore masks without complaint, which I requested since I have an elderly family member in the home. Also cost was about 20% cheaper than other removal companies.

Junk King Birmingham was outstanding! I’ve got all new furniture being delivered tomorrow,. I called Junk King on Friday and they scheduled a pick up for my old furniture today (Monday). They were scheduled to come between 1 and 3 this afternoon, but they called and asked if they could come by a little earlier since they were in the area.Of course I agreed and they arrived around 11:30. The workers were very professional in appearance and in their work ethic. I had a fairly large sofa and an oversized chair and they were in and out in no longer than 10 minutes. Even though the furniture pieces were rather cumbersome due to their size, the work crew took extra care not to brush against the walls or doorway. I highly recommend this company!

Today, June 24, Eric and Frank from Junk King hauled off some miscellaneous household items, including an old console TV, a table, and everything else, PLUS a large projection TV. They really did an outstanding job...very efficient and courteous. And, the price they charged was certainly fair. I would definitely use them again. 5 stars!
