They get on the ball with fixing your vehicle no matter what the problem is and faster than most anywhere around believe it or not. But if you choose to sit and wait they dont seem to mind if you charge your phone while you wait! I will recommend everyone that I know to get their vehicle fixed HERE! Plue they are on point and polite.

Called up there to schedule a drop off. Because they had good reviews. Not the friendliest person who answered the phone. Thats fine but when I told him what was going on he said we dont do transmission work. My problem is it says they do on their website. Rude and waste of time. Going to add to the post I was discriminated against I guess because Im a woman. my husband called the place and said exactly what I said the problemWas and they told him yes they do that there.

Being a women. I am always nervous about taking our car anywhere to have anything fixed . But, I am so thankful I found Alabaster Automotive Llc. I feel so much better there are very friendly and professional. They made me feel like we had know them forever they called and kept me updated while they had my car and went above and beyond to help me . They where very fast . I will never take my truck anywhere else from now on! I took my truck to them a couple of weeks ago and they were honest/fair priced and fixed it within a few hours! Wayne and John were amazing, as were the rest of the techs. They were a blessing in my life that I so much needed and they made me laugh! Charges out the a** for a diagnostic and didn’t even find what was wrong with my vehicle. Imagine.

They explain, very professional, but not accountable for any mistakes. I have 4 kids and wife, the expense was necessary..they had to replace spark plugs, explained that if removed, Its a possibility some will break off...well 1 got stuck in the engine.....it requires taking everything out and restructure how it was before...with no mistakes...so it took 2-3 weeks to get it done...after 3100$ mechanic informed us #1 he drove the car 65 miles testing the truck..no gas reimbursement (not considering our financial needs)....#2.that our sensor light was not working, (but we never had an issue with it),they didnt charge us for replacing it, but now it ironically reads an alternator light. #3 The mechanic simply said, i dont know why it came on, but it needs to be replaced. Although, your safe to drive it home. #4. 2 weeks later, a great amount of smoke begins to shoot out exhaust...that very day, I took it to another auto place to get it assessed. (my red flags were to much).The other repair shop did not go into detail, but towed it back to alabaster, free of charge told them the issue and Alabaster Autos said well give them a call. #5 2 days later, I called them...ask what is the problem? they replied: The fluid injectors ironically messed up within 2 weeks, causing oil to spill onto the motor, washing it out...not only did they tell me an alternator was needed, but now I have to buy a new motor. Their excuse was....this is all a coincidences. they dont know why these thing are happening to my ford expedition that is under 120,000 miles. I called the other auto store to come and get it...Ill pay them what is necessary, but I am not spending another dime at alabaster Autos. We are taking legal action against them immediately after proof of fault. I cant except its all a coincidence.

I really like Alabaster Auto. They always do good work and have great prices! Mr. Ricky is a very friendly guy. I think they really care about their customers and have been in Alabaster since I moved here when I was about 8 yrs old, 30+ years later and they are still packed with business every day. That should speak volumes in of itself.

Been using these guys for the 2 years I lived in Alabaster. Mechanics John and Randall are great, they will talk to you, make suggestions and both tell and show you what they are doing. Only issue was when I took my vehicle to them right before Christmas and it was 3 days to even look at the car. I didnt have the time so I took it to another Alabaster repair shop..................................MAJOR MISTAKE!!! Keep up the great work Wayne and Ricky and all involved at Alabaster Auto! We stopped here on our way to Gulf Shores, after having some minor issues with our breaks which turned out to be nothing other than the adjusting of the new pads I has installed a few days before. They were Saturday but got us in quickly within a few mins. The mechanic and the older gentleman in the office were very friendly and courteous. The gentleman sent us on our way to enjoy our vacation and didnt charge us. If youre having car trouble in this area this is your place. They are Great folks!

Do NOT aide this place. My CRV had to go in to have the fan assembly replaced. Upon getting it back I saw that my A/C no longer blew cold and my automatic window function no longer worked. Then, when taking it in to be looked at, I found that they BROKE what holds to coolant reservoir and just had it sitting, and it was empty. They had lost two of the caps on the front, AND they didn’t attach the grill back correctly.I called them and they said to bring it in Saturday. I head that way and call them to tell them I’m on the way. And they inform me not to come Bc they are not able to do it Saturday and to come Monday. Isn’t an option for me. I paid $532 for them to essentially break my car. WILL never go back.

We recently had one of our cars worked on here and the service was fantastic. My son and his family have their cars worked on here as well.If you need a good honest repair service this is the place.

Weve used this place a handful of times and it seems reasonably priced and they get the work done in a timely manner. We had some major electrical work that needed to be done, car wouldnt start and show any signs of life from a brand new battery, they repaired it and was ready to go in under 2 days

Had alternator and pulley replaced in June this year here. Recently car wasnt starting had to jump off took car to 2 places to check battery and alternator checked (free)was told it was alternator so took in here and they checked said it was the battery which I have no problem with but when I got there it was 42 dollar. Guess I should have asked first just assumed the shop that did the work would have done it free too. Lesson learned I guess.

Had great service every time Ive been here, from a simple oil change to engine work. My new spot to bring my autos here because theyve gained my trust, highly recommend.

Cant even change brakes and rotors correctly. I brought it in several times after they changed them with a noise and they couldnt find it and blamed it on something else. Finally got tired of it and took it to another mechanic and they left bolts out of my caliper and Ive had 2 brakes lock up since they did the work.

My last review wasnt what I intended. I just figured how to change it. They really do have a five star rating with me.

They do all my auto work on all 4 trucks and I also buy my tires from them and have never had any problems. I would highly recommend them to anyone need a competitive price on tires or any other auto service.

First time customer, came in off recommendation from a friend.Staff friendly, clean waiting room, good location, fair advertised prices.3 stars due to being told over phone an oil change would be 20-30 mins wait, showed up 20 mins after the call and I sat in the waiting area over 1-1/2 hrs (I waited because I understand business, and things do happen) without anyone informing me of any delays. I left without recieving any service.Dont set expectations and then not fulfill them without an explanation, before money walks out the door.

I came here to have a plug put in my trailer tire. I waited and was told to back my truck around. When i started backing in someone else whips in and i was forced to stop. He comes up to my window and tells me to wait just a minute and let him take care of this customer. I waited another 10-15 minutes. He finally plugs my tire, i pay and leave. I drive 1/2 Mile home. Get up the next morning and the tire is low again. I drive back down there and tell them something was wrong. There was one person in the lobby and he tells me the wait would be at least one hour to put air in my tire. I had to unload several things from my trailer to get to tools needed for me to put air in it myself. I did this in there parking lot as they say inside and watched me. They wont make there wrongs right. Expert tire is right across the street.

The store manager Ricky Tidmore lied to my family and took over $12,000 dollars all the while blaming me on how the car was driven. Sold us a transmission when the motor and transmission needed to be replaced. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Been using these guys for about a year since moving to Alabaster. Their hourly rate is the cheapest I have found anywhere and they always take care of my problems on both my cars. Oil changes are only about $22 and that includes a tire rotation and they dont try to upsell you on a bunch of crap you dont need like alot of other places in the area who offer cheap oil changes and then make it up with additional needs fixing items.The mechanics and the 2 gentlemen at the front desk are always helpful, and courteous even though they are always busy and I cant thank them enough.I dont believe for a second these 2 reviews that say they did such a poor job and accept that some people are never happy unless they can drag everyone else into the misery pit where they reside.Thanks Alabaster Auto and I will continue to use you and recommend you to my friends as long as I am in this area.Ben
