I had been cultivating a healthy head of bushy hair over the past year and figured it was time to get it dealt with. I set up an appointment with Mike woodson and told him do whatever looks good. I think he hit the nail on the head he gave me a great haircut and a fantastic beard trim. Ill definitely be back! Its also pretty awesome to come in to a nice clean shop with sweet vintage barber chairs. This is a good place to get a cut!

Mike did an amazing job with my 5 year olds hair. I had originally taken him to great clips and they did horrible. Mike fixed it up and it looks great now. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Will take my boys here from now on

Fairly priced, always a great atmosphere and hair is cut as requested. If ya dont like to talk, then there are tunes or TV from time to time.

Great guys, we had fun conversation before my haircut. Music was mild set at a good volume. I got a great haircut at a great price.

After calling and confirming that the Ellet Barber Shop could perform a hot towel shave, I mentioned that needed an accurate trim of my side burns and detailed goatee. The response was Absolutely, we are very experienced and will do a great job. I had let all of my facial hair grow out for several days, so there was a good amount of hair to work with (a blank canvas if you will.). I reconfirmed and was then reassured that it was absolutely within their skill set and they would deliver an outstanding job. I came with a detailed drawing and a photo of what I needed done.The result: I had to stop the Barber halfway, he cut off the bottom section of what was going to be my goatee. Whats left of the top of my goatee is very very crooked. He cut my sideburns so high, that I will have to basically eliminate them entirely until they grow back.Now, I know hair grows back but I have a special event this weekend and my only choice now is to shave it off completely. If a proffessional business says they are very qualified, you assume that your in good hands. Im saddened that the result is so bad and not salvageable for this weekend.Signed, A disappointed customer.

Took what seemed like a shot in the dark with all of the barber shop options in the Akron area, but am definitely glad to have chose this place. Walked right in 15 minutes before closing but it was no issue for the guys there. Only had to wait 15 minutes to get the best cut Ive probably ever had in my life. Overall, really cool atmosphere in the place, and all of the barbers there seemed to be very talented with their work and pay great attention to detail. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for a new place to go.

I was looking for a new barbershop and I found it. There is a jovial atmosphere here with quality and quick cuts. Need your beard lined up? Theyll do it. Eyebrows and mustache trims as well. Youll pay less than you expect and get more than you payed for. Quality equipment and products. The longest Ive ever waited was around 10 minutes. The last time I got right in the chair. Definitely give it a try.

My son has had his haircut from multiple barbers here and they are always kind and quick. My son is hyper active and doesnt like to sit still and theyve never lost patience with him and his hair always looks nice.

I had my haircut here a while back due to my barber not being open during his own advertised hours. The cut I got was alright for being a first time customer. I planned on returning, but the 2 times I did try, I turned around before making it to the door because of the crowd. It seems like people hang out here beyond just getting a haircut. Its cool though if this is someones hangout...It just wont be my barbershop.

Frankie is the man! The shop is tucked back into the shopping center and easy to miss but man do they do great work! Ill be back for sure!!! Definitely worth the drive...Just make sure you bring cash as they dont accept any other forms of payment to my knowledge.

Nice dude, very personable and he had me lookin clean in no time at all!Jeremy was also very helpful, we talked shop on beards for a few minutes and he gave me a sample of beard butter to take home and try out!I definitely recommend stopping in!

The guys that cut the hair are all nice, down to earth people and easy to get along with. The lines are usually long, so long waiting times, but its worth it because I always leave there satisfied with my fresh hair cut. Also, its a little pricey at 13 dollars a cut, but again, its worth it for the haircut I receive every time

Ive been using the Ellet Barber Shop since 1994 under the previous owner. I gave it a try after Ron took over and I was not disappointed. The shop is professional, well maintained, clean and they give great haircuts. All of the barbers are friendly and well versed in their craft. Ellet Barber Shop will continue to be my barbershop.

Got my haircut today by who it turns out was the owner Raun. It had been a long time since I had a haircut and I was super happy with how it turned out. The place had a very cool atmosphere. Im happy I made the stop in.

Busy place but I can see why. I was looking for a barber in the area because I just moved here and let me tell you these guys are awesome. Great feel to the place, everyone is easygoing and you can tell they love being there. Alot of the people were waiting for Ron or Charles, who I could tell from watching them did an awesome job, but I didnt care so I got in quickly with the 3rd guy who I didnt catch his name. He was great! I told him what I wanted and he did it perfectly. I didnt want anything special this time so it was only 11 bucks which is amazing and I was out the door in time to still do a couple hours of work before the wedding I was getting cleaned up for. This will be my new spot every couple weeks to get cleaned up. Highly recommend.

My husband was looking for a barbershop, we got online seen all the positive reviews and chose this shop. First of all the profanity was very offensive, secondly my husband showed a pic of the style he wanted, and his hair looks nothing like the pic, Very unprofessional barber that did not listen after repeatedly my husband told him do not cut the back short, its shaved! I would not recommend this shop to anyone .Only positive is hair will grow back and he did not charge him for the butchered job he did :(
