They got me in quickly. They were able to fix my cars A/C and get me on my way. They were polite and helpful. They even took me back to work, very locally, and brought my car back to me when the work was completed. I highly recommend their services and will be using them again for problems to general maintenance on my car.

I know its hard to find a good mechanic. I dont trust any mechanic other than this crew here. If its work I dont feel like doing myself, they always take care of me for a very good price and provide awesome service.

Ive been coming to Akey Brakey for over 20yrs. Since late 90s. Ive know everybody there and my dad worked there as well for about 20 years. He retired just last year in February ish. Anyway I still come by and see the guys and they are very nice and honest and very good at their job. I have not one bad thing to say about any of the crew that work there. I went here for an oil change and they were very nice. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. They have free WiFi. My oil change with synthetic oil came to just under $54.

Akey Brakey is the most reasonable & honest car shop. They have the best price for oil change hands down. I had an issue with my 2001 Mitsubishi Montero & the fixed it for a air price. We will be going back. I highly recommend!

I have had all my cars serviced at akey brakey since I moved here over 20 years ago. I remember when your business was located on canwood on other side of the freeway. The repairs have always been reasonably priced and on some occasions I have been able to do small repairs with knowledgeable tips from your team. You have given me rides back to my home several times and I am happy to have run into you occasionally around town getting groceries or grabbing a bite to eat at Arbys! I wish there were more businesses like yours that go the extra mile for their customers.

Brought my car in for new brake pads, turned out I needed new rotors too. Akey Brakey called me within an hour of dropping my car off to let me know this. They did a great job, and they had the work done very quickly and at a great price. Highly recommend going here if you need work done.

I am typically not one to write reviews, but these guys went way above and beyond what they had to do for me, and really help me out as I broke down on the freeway coming home from LA, (I live in Santa Barbara )they attended to my car immediately, put a sensor in it but I should’ve been charged over $100 for, but because that didn’t fix the problem (timing chain snapped),they didn’t charge me!!...Good parking there is very limited, but even yet they still let me leave my car there for a few days until I have the chance to come back and pick it up with the trailer, these guys honesty shined through in their service, I can promise you that if I live near there it would be the only place I would ever take my car !!!#AkeyBrakeyRocks!

Greg, Mark, Michelle and crew are caring, considerate, more than fair with prices, and accommodating when I have special requests like dropping off the car overnight or picking it up late. Most of all HONEST with advice, even if they wont make a dime from it.

Greg and the gang at Akey Brakey have served me well for over 10 or 12 years. When ever my business truck broke down or struggled they were there to help me and gave me a fair price. I never asked for and estimate as they are honest and I always drove away satisfied. Give them a try as you will be satisfied and using local merchants is a good thing.

I am back at Achy Breaky...I lost contact after my Hubby passed away. Found them again went back, and they couldnt be nicer. Miguel worked on my car, new shocks and struts in front. Told they were shot, showed me everything. Other quotes they said i needed front and back. Miguel assured I was good to go and and he did alignment as well and less than other places. Im going back whenever I need work. My Husband brought all our cars there. 5 Stars...even took me on a test drive...WOW! Thanks MIGUEL

I went to another shop for many years. The last four times I went there was because my breaks kept shaking. They replaced my roters. The next three times I went the they kept smoothing down the roters, but that never helped. I went to Akey Brakey and they fixed the problem in one visit. I’ve been going there ever since and I’ve been very happy.

My sons truck stalled at Starbucks on a Sunday after he finished working at Kids World. His friend who was with him let him use his AAA membership to call a tow truck. While my son and his friend were waiting for the tow truck to arrive my son looked for local repair shops in the area that he could have the car towed to. He found, ugh, Akey Brakey in a search result and when the tow truck driver arrived he asked him if he knew where Akey Brakey was and the tow truck driver said yes. Even though the tow truck driver is not a registered mechanic he suggested it might be the starter, as it wasnt starting. My son left the truck in the Akey Brakey driveway, put the keysin the slot with a note that said Might be starter. Come Monday mid-afternoon and some nebulous person calls my son to tell him Okay well replace the starter! The only problem is, it didnt need a starter at all. The problem had nothing to do with the starter. Today the Nissan dealership in Simi Valley told us it was THE FUEL PUMP. Not only did they swindle us out of $1000 they gave my son a death trap of a car that stalled 20 times while driving it up Kanan. If youre this far into the review, take your car to the dealer. Stay away from these guys. Theyre passive aggressive and toxic... and theyll give your family member back a car that will stall on the freeway endangering everyones life. Congratulations Akey Brakey and Brake and Alignment - the name youre going by now. You earned a 1 star review (so it registers) and a free trip to the Chatsworth courthouse. My treat. Im a real person, Ive lived in Agoura area since 1984, and I have 3 kids. If this review changes 1 persons mind Ive succeeded.
