Melissa. She is professional in her work. She is also down to earth and she makes me feel comfortable and shes always prompt. Ive seen her for 15 years now. She definitely needs to be noticed of what a great job she does.

This place is awful. So my husband and I filed. We did get an advancement on our taxes. The lady Barbra told us that we would receive the bill and a first payment date would be on there. Our emarld advance was $500.00She told us about late fees if we didnt pay it, that most people wait until their federal comes in to pay it off and they pay the 7.xx late fee along with it which is what we was going to do.So we recently was waiting on our state income tax to be deposited. I kept checking and it said it was deposited. So I called H&R block and the man told me of we took your whole state, (this was on Feb 10, 2020) I asked why and he said well it goes to us for you $363.00 tax preparation fee and we made your first emarld payment as well which took our whole $624.00 state refund. I was livid because for one, our first payment for emarld was due until Feb 15, 2020 in the amount of 153.xx. For two our tax proper Barbra told us everything will be taken out of federal income tax and 3 because they charged us $363.00 for 15 minutes of typing on a computer when we were told $44.95 to file. These people are so money hungry and worried they wouldnt get their money so they take it whenever they want! They are a sorry company and have done this same thing to a few of my neighbors and friends and were told it would come out of federal! They scam you and lie to you. I will never use them again! They corporate is no better when I called they was rude as well.

I have been coming to H&R block for years. Had amazing service every time. This is the first year I have had any complaints. My tax specialist did not include some of my paperwork even though it was in the preparation packet envelope with the rest of the paperwork. She did not explain thoroughly. I then noticed the missed paperwork after getting my packet home and when I called to mention it they want to charge 100$ to amend my taxes for their mistake. Thats on top of the 300 and something fee I pay to have them do them right to begin with then pay the extra for audit protection. And hr block is suppose to have the satisfaction guarantee ?? I have always recommended hr block and this office but I feel like they have made me question all the things I recommended them for.
