I recently used this company to initial replacing the siding on my entire chimney and certain areas around my home. When removing the old siding the contracted workers were just going to place the new siding on top of rotted wood. I had to stop them and tell them to replace the wood as well, which in all honesty should be a given. After replacing the necessary wood around the chimney the job was completed and everything appeared fine. The work appear good, and he was paid for his service. I then proceeded to use Decker Exterior to replace the gutters on my home also. When we just started having all of this heavy rain for approximately two weeks, I found that the down spout on one of the gutters wasnt redirected properly when they finished the job and the water began to over flow down my wall, and my basement started to have water come in. When I asked Decker Exteriors about the issue and why the elbow to the downspout wasnt place back on the when the job was completed, I was given every excuse in the book except accountability.Also I recently started noticing a leak in my living room in the area of the chimney. When trying to get Decker Exteriors to fix the error is has become a hassle.I do not recommend using this company at all because the owner does not thoroughly check behind the work of his contractors that he hires to complete the jobs. I always choose to support local small business, but I think this past experience will now change my feelings about that.And they will not come out to fix an error. I have filed my complaints with the Better Business Bureau, and will not refer this company to anyone in my neighborhood.

This is by far the best experience Ive had with contractor. There were some delay in scheduling which is expected considering everyone is getting work done on their house, also the rain didnt help. But once I was scheduled, the work was detailed, meticulous and the painters were courteous, polite.Ernie was nice, understanding and very patient as it took me forever to pick my paint color.I would definitely use Ernies crew again for future renovation needs.

Decker Exteriors built our new deck and we love it! They also fixed our sinking porch and now it looks great. Ernie is very professional and very knowledgeable. Very happy with their service. Excellent communication and reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend this company.

From fair pricing to work completion, they are knowledgeable, professional and know how to get it done right. They do not up-sell or try to fix things that do not need to be fixed; they have an honest approach to the details or suggesting items everyday homeowners may not be aware of, which I highly appreciate. I had a particularly “complicated” door situation (special order and part issues with the supplier) and Decker Exteriors was so patient and helpful in working with me, and around all the hurdles that came along. They handled each step with experience, patience, and ease and the workmanship is top notch. I’m having all new seamless gutters being done through Decker Exteriors, and will be using them for a deck job in the Spring. I normally do not take the time to write reviews. In fact, I created an account in order to leave this business and crew a 5-star review. From the beginning, during the quoting stage, Ernie was patient in answering my questions and informing me how he and his crew could get the details completed to satisfy what I had imagined for my backyard deck. My house came with a 10x14 high deck with no stairs to the backyard. The crew completed demolition of the old deck and construction of a new deck in three very hot sunny days, which included a new set of stairs and landing! They added minor details, which I was unaware were included such as a handrail for the stairs, which is great for my elderly mother who I take care of. Looking at the decks around the neighborhood, I can say it is the best looking and built. The crew were highly polite and courteous. Words are not enough to convey how hard-working and committed they all were in building our deck to our satisfaction. In fact, the city inspector came after the deck’s completion for a final review and told us the deck was rock solid and would likely outlast the house! These guys and their work done is worth every penny! I hired them to do my gutters next and I anticipate a similar job well-done. Thank you for honest great work!

Ernie gave me dates and followed up as planned. All of his workers were prompt, pleasant and hardworking.My insurance company paid for the work, so I assume the price was as they expected.Repairs to roof, soffit, fascia and chimney. Inside was popcorn removal and painting interior.

They seemed to know what they are talking about. He noted a few repairs my new home needed and I said write it up (the quote) and he would get back to me but I guess cause it wasnt a whole home repair he opted to ghost me. I never heard back, never got the quote to move forward.

Very affordable price for a complete roofing job, correcting a horrible job of a number of years ago by bad roofer. Very professional, did everything to code, and got the whole job done in record time. It rained the next day and it was wonderful to experience no leaks! I cannot say enough great things about Ernie and his crew--Thank you so much!

I cant say enough about the quality of workmanship on my new deck and the professionalism from Ernie and the whole crew. I had a couple of changes and Ernie was more than accommodating to my needs. Decker Exterier just replaced all the windows in our home! It was a smooth and easy process getting everything set up and ordered! Once the windows were in, it took no time for them to work me into the schedule! The crew came out and did a VERY professional and great looking job! They even took the time to show us the features on the windows. The windows are great quality and the cost was very budget friendly! I will use this company and recommend them to family and friends for other projects in the future!
