These guys did an awesome job. Gonzalo and John run a great business, and provide extremely reasonable prices. They brought out a full crew that made quick and coordinated work out of our pretty large job. Our situation required that they temporarily took down a chain link fence (which they put back together) and remove several trees, two of which were very large and hanging over our home and our neighbors home. We were really impressed with how they removed that tree in particular (see pic). They were able to remove all branches and bring the tree down without any issues - and engender trust with our neighbor who was understandably nervous about the whole ordeal.We also had some smaller scraggly trees that were basically tangled with electric and Internet wires. Cheap and Great somehow brought everything down without snapping any of those wires. Also, very impressive.These guys are like artists with how they drop and remove trees. They also carry plenty of insurance which was important to us. Highly recommend!!

I quoted a job to several service providers. Cheap and great was the lowest bidder, and they provided proof of insurance, so they got the job. I will note that they would not honor the 25% coupon, but Gonzalo said on the phone that it was factored in on the quote they provided. Minorly frustrating, but fine, they were still going to save me a good amount of money. Much to my surprise they arrived with 3 trucks and 6 workers including a climber. They made quick work out of one complicated tree right on my fence and about 15 feet from my newborns nursery as well as a few easier trees.They removed 20 stumps from my yard that the previous owner hadnt removed. This was part of the quote, but worth mentioning.They cleaned up my yard better than it was before they got here. That goes a long way in my book.I am very pleased with the job they did, and the time from bid acceptance to service provided. I would recommend this crew for similar jobs to any of my friends or family.

This group are very professional, hard working and they did an outstanding job with our tree removal. The cleanup was also very impressive. We would highly recommend this company!

When I spoke to the representative, I asked that the tree and stump be removed. When the team arrived, they did remove the tree. As for the stump, they left it. I was told that I could layer top soil over it. However, the stump is still not level with the ground. I spoke with the supervisor again this morning and was given the same line about covering it with top soil. The stump NEEDS to be below ground level so that a lawn mower does not catch it. Needless to say, Im not happy.I am happy now! The company returned this afternoon with a stump grinder that could fit through our gate! We did not have to dismantle the fence. The stump is below ground. Thank you for such great service!

Company sent out flyers with coupons for 25% off of any job over $1000. Got a quote, were going to move forward with them but they refused to honor the coupon. Im no lawyer, but this is obviously a dishonest sales practice. Dont send flyers with coupons if you dont intend to honor them.It is also curious that a majority of the positive reviews they have are from profiles that have only reviewed this 1 business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They damaged my air conditioner unit that was located near a tree that was removed. There is a very large trench that was left in the front yard destroying the sod. They left a huge hole in my bedding in the front yard. They left limbs in the front yard and totally destroyed one of our holly bushes and six flowers were totally destroyed. It appears that they pulled them from the ground. They immediately left the premises without letting us know. The brother called n asked to have the payment left in the mailbox. I refused to allow them to have access to our mailbox. Upon his return I presented the advertised coupon and he absolutely refused to honor the coupon. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY ON YOUR PROPERTY!!! I gave one star because there was no other choice.

If I ever need any more tree work I’ll be going with Cheap & Great Tree Services again. I had them limb up several trees in our garden and we were concerned about possible damage to our plants. These guys did a great job and took excellent care in our garden - no damage at all! They also did a fantastic job cleaning up when they finished. Highly recommend.

This project started out as one tree to be removed. After speaking with Gonzalo and the price, it turned into 7 trees. Day of work we spoke more...13 trees removed plus a neighbors tree. Incredible work and price! Well trained team. Clean up was spectacular. Other than the trees gone, you would never know they were here. Highly recommend.

Cheap and great live up to the name. Their quote was the 3rd quote I received as I was shopping around for services to remove 7 trees from my yard. 3 of which were sizable and needed to be climbed to remove. Cheap and great came in, gave me just a competitive quote at first, yet then reevaluated it and beat their competition with a good discounted rate but no lack in service. 8 person crew showed up...worked swiftly and cleaned up well. Definitely would use and recommend. I did not get any stump grinding service...but the cutting and removal service I got were done well. Professional, friendly and respectful. A+

These guys work fast! I needed a medium sized tree taken down near the side of my house. They had it gone, stump and all less than 20 minutes after they arrived. They were very professional and didnt leave any mess at all either. I would definitely recommend them.

We recently hired Cheap and Great Tree Service to remove two massive Tulip Poplar trees from our small back yard in Marietta. We had several companies come by to give us an estimate and Cheap and Great beat all of the other bids by a long shot. Their price was less than half of the highest quote that we received and about $1000 dollars less than the second lowest quote. We were concerned about the trees as the largest was over 6 feet in diameter and about 70 feet tall with several large, dead and dying limbs in the crown and a large rotted area at the base near the ground. The second tree was not quite as large and appeared to be healthy but it was leaning precariously over the sunroom and was constantly dropping sticks and leaves onto the roof and clogging the rain gutters. A neighbor’s home was crushed by a falling tree in the wind storms we had this past winter and we wanted to avoid the same fate from either of these trees. We knew the job would be difficult as there is not much space in the back yard. The largest tree was surrounded by flower beds and a vegetable garden on one side and a greenhouse and more flower beds on the other side directly underneath it. The smaller tree was hanging over a sunroom with glass on all sides with only a few feet of clearance between the sunroom and the trunk. Access to the back yard was not easy either as they had to bring the bobcat loader and huge wood chipper down a steep grade and across a decorative stone creek in the front yard. They also had to remove and replace a section of wooden fencing between the front and back yard to provide access for the equipment. The crew arrived exactly at the scheduled appointment time and got to work removing the fence section and lining the front yard and creek with sheets of plywood to protect the landscaping from the heavy equipment. We had several prized peony plants around the base of the largest tree which they carefully dug up keeping a large enough soil/root ball intact to protect them from being temporarily uprooted. The entire team was very respectful of our landscaping and property as they got to work cutting and lowering the largest limbs from the top of the tree by rope and feeding them into the chipper before taking down the main trunks in sections. They were able to drop the massive sections of heavy trunk with enough precision that they all fell safely in the narrow spaces available around the base of each tree. With so many trips back and forth for the bobcat to haul the huge, heavy trunk sections out there were some unavoidable ruts left in the back yard but the crew used some of the wood chips from the chipper to fill and level up the worst spots and shoveled/raked the soil back over them when they were done. They replanted the peonies, replaced the fence section, blew away and raked up all of the leaves and debris, cleaned up the street in front of the house where they loaded the logs and left us with a nice pile of wood chips that we will use in other landscaping projects. The entire job except for grinding the stumps was done in 4 hours. The stump grinder came a day later to finish that part of the job. We are very happy with the professional job done by Cheap and Great Tree Service. They truly lived up to their name with a great price and excellent service from start to finish.

I was very fortunate to find “cheap and great tree service”! I had a lot of trees down in my yard that was left from a major windstorm in late October. I had received several quotes to do the work but I had a huge rootball from one of the large oak trees that no other company was willing to help with. Gonzalo Garcia assured me that they could do the work and they did an excellent job of it! They were able to completely remove the huge tree rootball! On top of that they were cheaper than anyone else. Gonzalo went above and beyond to make sure the work was done and even did extra work to make sure I was happy! Gonzalo also sent me the required insurance certificate to assure me they had the insurance protection that was needed. I will be using them in the future for more work and I very highly recommend this company!

As I read in another complaint postThey take advantage of seniors.After I gave the Supervisor what we agreed on . He left and left the crew on my property. They layed around in my back yard on their cell phones and some roamed through my garden talkin on phones. This was for over an hour.They did not finish cleaning up. Left debri up against my fence and all over my grass.They broke a board off gate. When I called to complain I got harassed by the Supervisor. A real smart mouth, no reguards for my concerns. I filed a complaint with Home Advisers and My bank to put a hold on payment. until damage to fence was taken care ofWas given a hard time when I didnt want to pay cash.Was harassed by company after filing complaints!!! Do not recommend!!!!Repair never done!
