My dentist was on vacation and I had a dental emergency that could not wait. I called another dental practice that I was familiar with and the physician was not available either. When I called Aspen Dental they were able to see me within 30 minutes of my call. This was my first visit…Excellent customer service from the front desk, techs, hygienist, cashier/financial rep and Dentist! My tooth looks and feels great!

I had an emergency situation that arose; however, was scared out of my mind, and on the verge of canceling, but with one conversation via telephone with Abigail I regained my courage and made it to my scheduled appointment. From beginning to end that day with each and every encounter with the different professionals there I was truly AMAZED with their compassion for my entire situation, and they all went above and beyond to accommodate my needs as well as continually reassuring me that I would be very happy with the results when everything was completed. I think I cried three times because they were SO kind in keeping their promises.

I made an appointment online to Aspen dental. I spent all my time driving to their location for an 8am appointment on a Saturday. I didn’t know that you must be a new customer to set an appointment on a Saturday. They said they tried to call me. I work from my phone all day and even if they did… they did not leave a voicemail or send me an email. Very unprofessional! Do not spend any of your time going to this location.

My overall experience at this location was great, however they seem to be sneaky with billing. I asked for my total due in order to pay it all at once and of course after I paid that total, more money was owed somehow. I was given an electronic toothbrush after my cleaning and was not told I’d be charged $135.00 for it. If I had known, I wouldn’t have taken it. Apparently, this is a trick that many of the Aspen Dental offices do to increase their sales of these toothbrushes. Even though my wisdom teeth removal and deep cleaning went well, I won’t be returning due to the sneaky billing practices they have.

Everyone in the office was great. I went in for a Saturday appointment and everything was executed well. Dr. Bree and Tori (hygienist) explained everything thoroughly. Mallory was able to help me get started with treatment in a timely manner, that also worked around my daily schedule.

Billing and insurance filing is either very shady or downright inept. My wife had extensive prep work done in support of a larger proposed treatment plan in December of 2020. In March, we receive a bill for the total amount with footnotes stating that the insurance company needed clarifying information. Accessing the insurance portal shows no evidence of a claim being filed. A call to the carrier results in “we’ve received no claims for your wife.” I called the office billing extension to inquire and was told “we see what is wrong and we will re-file right away.” Same story the next month. Another bill with same footnote annotations as the first bill with added warnings of “past due!!” I call explaining again there is no evidence Aspen has filed a claim. The message from billing on that call is “we filed it under the wrong SSN. So sorry, we’ll get this corrected immediately”. The notice this month comes from a collection agency. So now, because somebody maybe was sleeping or hung over during the “how to file dental claims” training day, our credit score is at risk and we’ve paid insurance premiums for nothing. Don’t get care here. Your insurance company’s money is no good here and your credit score and history is in danger!!

I scheduled an appointment with this location on 8/9/21, because I had a broken tooth. I got to my appointment and I had to do a bunch of x-rays, in which the person doing them was so rough and almost made me throw up more than a few times. one of the dental hygienists stated that I had plaque buildup on my teeth and they were going to give me a cleaning but all she did was poke around in my mouth and made my gums hurt. then the dentist came in, poked around in my mouth some more and told me that I had a broken tooth (duh, that’s why I was there), said I needed to get it extracted AND also told me I needed two other teeth pulled, but I needed to come BACK at a later date to see the oral surgeon. I was furious. They made me wait in some room off to the side for someone from finance to come and discuss costs with me but after 30 minutes of waiting I just left, still with a broken tooth. this was a colossal waste of my time. I drove almost an hour to get here and literally nothing was done. don’t waste your time coming here.

I wish i could give a .5 rating. Unfortunate, theres no option. It is indeed unfortunate that you are never late reminding a client to schedule a next appointment because its revenue generating, but you have no time when a client makes a follow-up with billing questions. A horrible job was initially done with the EOB sent to the insurance. First forward, after making numerous attempts, it turns out the wrong figures had been generated but Aspen still had no courtesy of informing the client who calls that office day and night trying to get the adjusted amounts. Calling the Acworth office is a nightmare!!! The staff there will give you a you are bothering us attitude, even if they dont tell you verbally. And to the lady that just talked to my wife a couple of minutes ago, (lucky she forgot your name) A BIG SHAME on you!!! Thats not how to treat clients. I would rather you are not client facing if you dont have the patience to listen and guide accordingly.

I did get free X-rays, which I’m thankful for. These people LIED. Told me I would need EVERY TOOTH TAKEN OUT and at the very least need the front top six teeth crowned. Went to another dentist that said your gums are perfectly healthy, there’s no plaque build up, and you have some cavities that need to be filled. Aspen gave me a $35,000 bill😂😂😂 Straight bs, and I went out to my car and cried because of them🙄Get a second opinion for sure😂😂😂

Great staff and Dentist. When any doctor or dentist office gives you a cost for service print out and they tell you that your insurance company will pay most of the bill, dont believe them. They suggested that I get the Root Planning & Scaling done, that my insurance will pay most of the $1,120.00, and my part, Patient Responsibility would be $336.00. It turned out that my insurance company paid ZERO. The paperwork that I was given showed that the Insurance Discount would be $448.00, and the Adjusted Amount would be $672.00. When my insurance company did NOT cover the procedure I had to pay the complete bill. WHAT A SHOCK!!! They were showing an Insurance Discount of $448.00, and the Adjusted Amount of $672.00, on the print out, I would think that if they were willing to give the Insurance Company a Discount and an Adjusted Amount that me, the patient would also be given some kind of Discount. My wife and I had appointments for cleanings next week and they wanted over $120.00 each for the special cleaning because of our bone loss, I guess that when they stick that probe between your tooth and gum it tells them something. I would think that they would need a previous measurement to make that decision correctly instead of just figuring that there is bone loss, I am 72 years old. I told them that I just wanted the regular 6 month cleaning that my insurance company always pay for. I was told that they could not do that because I had gotten talked into the Root Planning, and I had to have the special cleaning. When the Root Planning was done this past June it took no longer than my regular cleanings had taken in the past. The lady doing this showed me some dark stuff that she was getting on her dental tool. Like I said they are very nice, and remember what my Insurance Company told me when they would not pay the bill, ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO MAKE SURE IF THEY WILL PAY OR NOT.I just received another bill from Aspen. I was told at the time of service that my part of the bill would be $22.00 to do a permanent filling in the crown. Surprise I owe another $33.00. Aspen Dental is the most poorly managed dental company when it comes to understanding their computer program that works with the patients insurance companies. Or THEY JUST DO NOT CARE WHAT THEY TELL THE PATIENT. GREAT STAFF AND DOCTORS BUY THE PERSON THAT IS RUNNING THE ACCOUNTING DEPT NEEDS TO BE TRAINER ON THEIR SYSTEM. WITH MY FIRST PROBLEM 6 MONTHS AGO WITH THEIR BILLING WAS A REAL MESS. THEY TOLD ME THAT MY INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD PAY SO MUCH OF THE BILL. WHEN THEY DIDNT, ASPEN JUST KEPT TELLING ME THAT THEY WERE IN CONTACT WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND EVERYTHING WOULD BE WORKED OUT. ASPEN DENTAL ACCOUNTING LADY WAS TO CALL ME BACK IN 2 WEEKS AND NEVER DID. WHEN I FINALLY CALLED HER BACK AND REMINDED HER, SHE HAD A LIE TO TELL ME, WHICH WAS I CALLED BUT YOU NEVER ANSWERED. I TOLD HER THAT IF SHE DID CALL ME THEN WHY DIDNT SHE LEAVE ME A MESSAGE. THEN SHE TOLD ME THAT MAYBE SHE HAD THE WRONG NUMBER. I THEN SAID IS IT YOUR POLICY NOT TO TRY THE PHONE NUMBER AGAIN, THAT MAYBE SHE HAD THE WRONG NUMBER THE FIRST TIME. THE ACCOUNTING DEPT WILL DESTROY A VERY GOOD DENTIST COMPANY BY MESSING UP THEIR CUSTOMER WITH LIES.

I visited the Acworth office yesterday. After explaining my financial situation, my quote didnt address any of my issues, nor any compassion on my needs, financial or the personal need for limited dental work I was offered no discussion on options. In fact, I had to ask for an explanation and a copy of the quote. I got the copy I asked for, as for the explanation, hmmm, not so much. I asked for my x rays and bone density tests be emailed to me at the time i left the office around 4:30P.M. and at this time 1 day later, 5;45P.M. I was truly disappointed with my experience. I went for a free consultation for Invisalign which if you have insurance they will charge your insurance for. I barely saw the dentist to ask any questions and the x-ray machine was old equipment. Resulting the tech having a hard time getting the images. They are aggressive in their treatment compared to a privately owned dentist. Their rates might be lower but they will always find something wrong regardless of what you actually need.

My experience was good.. I had to have two teeth pulled, and a crown put on. My only suggestion is that they provide you with a indepth list of what to expect with a permanent crown,, such as a possible odd taste in your mouth for a few days, including what you can or cannot eat or drink with a crown. I must brag on Abagail and Tori though!! They both are simply amazing, kind, and professional!

Absolutely amazing! I had been in a lot of pain in the last couple of days because of my wisdom teeth and yesterday I really needed to be seen because I couldnt stand the pain. I called and they got me in same day and were very helpful explaining what was going on with my teeth and what all I needed to get done. The Dr. And the manager, Daniel, were incredibly sweet and accommodating, and now Im scheduled to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed next week and was able to work out a really good payment plan with them. I really appreciated the help. Theyre mouth-savers!

Decided I wanted to try and get a dentist closer to my new area so I booked my six month cleaning at this facility. People were friendly, but after 30 minutes of them taking x-rays/telling me I don’t have cavities (thanks I never have, just here for a cleaning). They told me no one was there to do my cleaning and I have to schedule a separate appointment for that. I asked if this is a typical business practice, and was told by a technician that they are so busy they can’t guarantee cleanings?? Isn’t that why I’m here? Anyways, for someone with a full-time job I don’t have time to make duplicate appointments for the same service. Won’t be going back.

Had a great experience! From the moment I walked in I felt cared for and treated like family. Everyone was real nice and respectful. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and made my check in easy. The office was neat, clean, and very hygienic. The dental assistant took my digital x-rays and introduced me to the hygienist who then checked my gums and completed my gum assessment. They even did an oral cancer screening which I thought was great since I know that oral cancer is on the rise and it is something that can be easily treated when caught in its early stages. The hygienist was particularly knowledgeable and gentle on his assessment. Then the dentist came in and completed my dental exam, at which point I was feeling more comfortable and less anxious. At the end of my appointment I met with the manager which explained in detail everything I needed and went over my treatment plan and overall cost. They were very helpful and I love that Aspen has different ways of financing treatment and making sure that the dental insurance covers the services that I need. I also loved the fact that every one of them took time to educate me and be patient with me, and not just treat me like another number. Overall I would say that I highly recommend this office and will be making it my family’s dental home!

I tried to get a price range for upper and lower dentures with 2-4 implants. For about 20 minutes I kept explaining I wanted a price range, lower to upper price, to see if I could afford it. I kept getting the canned answer of a starting price and how nice it looked.Three times she had to ask someone and finally she gave me the line it is a very individualized price. I then said just tell me the most it has ever cost a patient. Once again the canned answer started.I just hung up.

Aspen dental in Acworth is amazing; especially Daniel! He has helped me from day 1 as well as the other office staff. The really make me feel welcome as they knew me by name by my 2nd visit. The only reason its not 5 stars is because I misunderstood and dont totally agree with the Mandatory cleaning before I get my Permanent partial.... HOWEVER, with that said, Daniel took about 30 mins to explain that to me very calm and professional as I was very upset. Thanks guys for everything you do and Ill see ya tomorrow!!

My opinion on this office is not very good. I was sold on something that I did not need, but all the promises sounded great. I paid over $1700 less that 2 years ago now i am going to pay another Dental office $5000 to fix an issue that Aspen should have made me aware of, they suck when it comes to customer satisfaction. I want to start off by saying the Acworth Aspen team far exceeded my expectations. For a long time I have felt very insecure about going to the dentist because of the condition of my teeth and previous negative experiences with other dentists. But Dr Koch and the rest of her team shot down all of those insecurities today at my first visit. Ensuring me that I have nothing to worry about and that they were going to do everything they could to get my mouth back to the way it should be without any judgment. I was having excruciating tooth pain for an entire weekend, and knew something HAD to be done. However, my old dentist always seemed to be so expensive so I was afraid to go there. When the clock struck Aspen’s opening time on Monday, I immediately called the one closest to me because I had heard they were not too expensive. I asked to be seen that day, and although there were no openings there that day, the woman was kind enough to find the closest Aspen to me that could take me ASAP. I ended up getting an appointment on Monday, and had the problem identified (a broken and decaying tooth) and solved (tooth removal) by Tuesday, and they gave me pain meds in the meantime. All the while Aspen was exceptionally cheaper than my old dentist! Another thing to note was that at my old dentist about a year prior, I had actually brought up the broken tooth and they essentially ignored me and listed out all of these other problems I had and racked up the dollar signs, and at the time the tooth wasn’t hurting and I was young and confused so I just sort of ignored the problem altogether, where as at Aspen they focused directly on the actual problem and tried not to bombard me with other things to deal with while we were figuring out the tooth thing. The staff was also really nice and accommodating, very understanding when I showed up upset and in pain. They gave me a few brush heads for my Oral B for free which was cool. All in all will probably be the dentist I stick with. Five stars.

I had a wonderful experience at Aspen Dental. I actually was there on the Grand opening day of this Acworth location. The staff was amazing!! everyone was very welcoming. The environment was very clean and the equipment was nice and high tech.The dentist and aids were so sincere about taking care of my teeth and educating me on all that was going on in my mouth. The staff here is awesome! Everyone was extremely professional and understood that I am nervous when visiting the dentist. The hygienist and the Dr. were very gentle when examining my teeth and explained the service before they performed it. I will definitely recommend Aspen Dental to family and friends.

I called early this morning for an emergency visit for my son as a new patient (we cant ever get anyone on the phone at his old dentists office). I stressed that he was only 6 and was assured numerous times that he would be seen and that my insurance was accepted there. Its only after Ive left work and am picking up my child that someone from the office calls to tell me that he is too young and cant be seen. Apparently I was misinformed when speaking with their call center this morning and this kind of thing happens frequently. While the actual office staff member I spoke to was very pleasant and tried to help by referring us to another dentist, that didnt help me given my current situation. I cant risk any more wasted time off of work or time missed at school due to lack of training within this organization or those scheduling on its behalf.

I really did have a great experience with this office. When I tell you EVERYONE was extremely helpful. The punctuality and honor in this place is at a high. I went in for tooth pain and ended up needing oral surgery. They made the process extremely easily. I wish I could name everyone’s names but I do not remember lol. They know how to treat people. We live in a culture of disrespect. Where no one values each other so when I come into a place that goes against the “norm” I appreciate it more than you can ever know.

Very please with my appointment(s) at the Acworth Aspen Dental. They were able to get my family appointments in the time frame I had requested. Everyone that I spoke with or came in contact with was very pleasant and helpful. Every question that I had, which were a lot, were answered. If the staff member was unsure, they were quick to find the answer for me. They were excellent at explaining everything that they were going to do, what needed to be done, and even the financial obligations. Follow up appointments are already scheduled and looking forward to going back. Thank you Acworth Aspen Dental!

Financial manager does not know his products, is unprofessional and seems to not care about patient. 30+ days with a temporary crown (because of his mistake) and had to push my way back in to get the permanent in. He tried to combine perio treatment with permanent crown appt after Dr said I needed some time in between. (claimed it was fine but backed down when I ask for verification from Dr) Failed to cancel appointments as agreed. Scheduled new appointment and sent me an email (without my input on date/time).Front desk blocked my attempt to talk to the Doctor about treatment. Office was so cold I had to ask for a blanket. (told it was for financial managers comfort).On the plus side, the Dr and Hygienist were friendly and good at what they did for me.I caution anyone considering this facility until the front office issues are addressed.

I love this office! It was so clean and nice. They also have tvs in each room so you have something to occupy you with while your waiting, which is not very long anyways. I was a nervous wreck going in since its been such a long time since Ive had any dental work and I had been having tooth pain for a week before I finally came in. The office manager Daniel was such a sweetheart. He made me feel calm and at ease. A day later I had 2 extraction procedures done and Dr Bolden and his nurse were both great. The nurse knew i was scared but she helped by explaining things to me and telling me I would be okay. Dr Bolden was very pleasant and very gentle. My insurance does not cover them at all but I would return just because they are so great. I would highly recommend them.

The Aspen dental associates and Dr. Bolton were very nice and professional. They took quite a few x-rays and was very thorough and since it was my first visit they didnt charge for the exam. I needed a root canal and they only perform general dentistry so they referred me to a Endodontics. It was really a waste of my time because I ended up going to another Dental practice that does everything and they wanted to do their own x-rays. I prefer a Dental practice that does everything I was disappointed with Aspen Dental because I was charged $30.00 for an oral cancer screening that literally took 30 seconds. Definitely an overcharge for this service. Also, I was in pain and they didnt offer to give me anything for the pain. All in all, I would recommend Aspen Dentistry to my family and friends only if they need general dentistry.
