I found Edwards through the recommendation of a friend, and I’m very pleased with them so far! Today was my first HVAC maintenance appointment, and James was the technician. He was great about explaining everything and what needed to be replaced now and what could wait. I’m looking forward to working with Edwards again!

James came out today in a very timely manner and was very helpful and taught me a lot about my own AC unit. I appreciate the service and will definitely be using them again. As a first time home owner and only being in the house for a little over a year I really appreciate the information and time James took explaining things out to me so I understand how the unit works better.

Edwards installed equipment from original construction.They had to come out a few times due to issues we were having and made sure we knew how to use system to the best of its performance. We have kept them as our service provider due to their professionalism, honesty and integrity. When they come for maintenance everyone that has visited our home has been so engaging and during COVID very respectful and making sure we know every service performed to our units. Omg. No words to describe how great James Knox is. My husband had surgery and the night before he was scheduled to be discharged, our air went out. Both units not working. I was a wreck. Edwards came highly recommended, so I called them. James came, did a thorough job explaining our choices, fixed the downstairs unit, gave us options about the upstairs unit, was helping us stay positive in the midst of my husband’s moaning and groaning for pain. I want to take a moment and share my experience with Edwards Heating & Air and their technician James. This was my first time using their services. My air wasn’t cooling like it should. Georgia, June, no air, no good. I looked at many companies and many customer reviews. All the reviews for Edwards were great with one exception, literally, just one. I decided to call and make an appointment. I’m glad I did. They got me setup for same day service. I didn’t expect that. It’s that Georgia, June, no air thing. When the tech arrived I told him what was happening. James diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He explained what he found and what the fix would be. Then James told me how Edwards could reduce today’s bill as well as my long term costs. This would help extend the life of my cooling and heating system. I got same day service, a quick repair, a great tech, savings, and long term protection for my cooling and heating systems. I highly recommend this company. I will be using them for a long time.

We had to have someone come out when our HVAC stopped working and this cost was recommended. The guy who came out was great. He was able to fix our system by replacement a part he also found out other things were wired wrong and fixed all that while here. He let us know getting a service plan would save on the post and service call but it not high-pressure sales and was up to us to make decision. Would totally recommend Edwards to others.

These guys are fantastic they came out and hooked up a heater for me outside on my porch. Dwayne was a technician and did a perfect job. Customer service from the awesome was great could not ask for better. Also have the new construction team install a complete system and another property that we own. Amazing service. Our system went bad yesterday and literally the next day a tech was able to come out. The Scheduling and tech were both amazing. The tech was thorough, detailed, efficient, and customer service was 5 stars. I would absolutely recommend using Edwards Heating & Air

Called them to replace damper as we have two story house. Technician was friendly and knowledge but he charged $376 for quick 15 minute replacement of damper which cost $60 on amazon. I felt overcharged as this was on top of $65 service charge.

We called Edwards on Tuesday and they were able to come out the next day (which was the soonest of any company we called). Once they arrived, they knew exactly what the problem was and the whole appointment only took a little more than an hour. They were professional, courteous, on-time. We will definitely be using Edwards again should we need HVAC service in the future.

We hired Edwards Heating & Air to install a new air conditioner for us. During their routine testing they discovered that our furnace needed replacing too. Long story short, there were basically no safety features on the old furnace. It could have caught our house on fire and blown up the water heater at any time.I did not feel pressured to replace the furnace on the spot, they just told me what was wrong with it, and the price for a new furnace. (Including a discount for getting both done on the same day!) I’m so glad they were honest with us and that we followed their recommendations.I will be forever grateful to Edwards Heating and Air for keeping my family safe and saving our home from potentially being destroyed.

They even fixed our bonus room which was always hotter than the rest of our house. They added a new register and a return. That room is now so comfortable! I highly recommend this company. The installers were extremely neat and professional. They did a wonderful job installing our new furnace and upstairs air. There was no pressure to buy more than we needed. Our downstairs air still works after 20 years, but when it goes out, we will use Edwards again! Definitely a 10 Star Company! I have already recommended them to two people.

Ive been a home owner for 32 years and during that time my experience with HVAC companies have not been pleasant. You can read a review I made a year ago for one of my condos. Not a good experience. A few days ago, my unit stopped working at home. I tried a few things to revive it to no avail. I read reviews online and was surprised to find a firm local to me that was highly rated, so I tried Edwards. I called late on Thursday and someone took my info. I stressed that I really needed service on Friday because I was going out of town Sunday. I got a call following morning telling me that someone would come Friday. It was late in the day but they arrived and within a few minutes they found the problem. Eric was the specialist who serviced my home and he was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. I asked if he mind me watching him troubleshoot because I like to learn from pros. He not only didnt mind but explained what he was doing. Like I said, he found the issue quickly and was very reasonable with his fees. It is a first for me, which is why I tinker to see if I can fix. Usual experience is companies find things you dont really need but find a way to charge you anyway. I was surprised how honest Edwards was. First for me in 32 years. I will absolutely use Edwards again and am planning a getting a quote for one of my three units which is 20 plus years old which I need to replace. Thank you Edwards and for sending Eric. We woke up to our furnace being shut off Christmas morning. Their on call person, Jeff, called me back within 30 minutes and was ready to come out. But first, he walked me through checking the system - and one thawed condensation drain later our furnace was back up and running and Christmas morning saved.

Our A/C unit died. It was 90+ degrees outdoors. We needed a new compressor. Shane went above and beyond to make sure we were serviced ASAP. James came to the house twice ensure a comprehensive diagnostic was done, and not merely replacing the compressor. He made adjustments to our furnace as well as the unit to ensured our A/C unit will run more efficiently, and not be prone to breaking down. Professional all the way round - setting the appointment, on time, and going above and beyond.

We had a problem that seemingly had no solution. We had our home built 5 years ago. Edwards Heating and Air Conditioning (the Duluth, GA location), serviced the entire heating/cooling system twice a year. This year our compressor blew up; it sounded like a small explosion. It was under the 5 yr. warranty, so Edwards replaced it and we paid for the labor and Freon. Then, the compressor died again. Edwards replaced it again, only this time the unit was no longer under warranty according to the manufacturer. Shane, the manager at Edwards said to us, “The manufacturer will not honor your warranty, but we will cover the cost of a new compressor, Freon and labor, because right is right.” Once installed, they did a diagnostic to find the problem. They couldn’t find the issue. When the unit died a third time (July in Atlanta is not a good time to be without AC), we were beside ourselves and so was Shane. They told us they would replace it again, but felt this was probably a manufacturer’s defect and we may want to consider replacing it. They left it entirely up to us. We came to the conclusion we had a builder grade lemon. After Edwards sunk over $5K of their own, they allowed us to put the $1,500 from the original replacement compressor (Labor and Freon) toward a new one. My total cost of a brand new Carrier AC (inside and out) + labor and Freon was $2700 + the original $1,500. A lot of money? Absolutely, but without Edward’s integrity, we could have spent close to $10K by the time all was said and done. Edwards replaced our new unit in one afternoon. Between the professionalism of the office personnel who answered their phones, even after hours and on weekends, their technicians, how we were spoken to and treated, how honest Management/Shane was with us during the entire process, and how much money they absorbed for the sake of integrity, we could not have asked for better from Edwards.

I have used Edwards for 4 years. I have always been happy with their service. They are friendly and courteous and I just plain trust them. They are never dishonest and if there is an issue they show me and explain whats going on. We splurged on a very nice AC for upstairs and are now doing the same for the downstairs and we wouldnt use anyone else. Shane is my absolute favorite technician and I always request he comes to my home. Hes so nice and even tolerates my little dog following him around to be pet. I was going to buy 2 new furnace and and air conditioning systems when my current units failed - until it happened today and 6 hours after I was told a technician was on the way, I was finally told they don’t service my area. Thanks guys, it’s only 95 today!

Our upstairs air conditioner drain pan overflowed and water was pouring out the vent. My husband called Edward Heating & Air for service. it was the weekend. The Pro: They were able to get someone out very quickly. The Cons: Was told they do not work on our unit because it is old..our home is only 13 years old! He then recommended to my husband a new complete system change out with an infinity system for $11k. The unit we called for service is only used for our upstairs. We have 2 other units that cool our downstairs and basement! The tech left charging the $125 service call fee ...did nothing done to fix our system..the tech did said a coil could be bad and need replaced but he doesnt do that work...but again he would be happy putting in that 11k unit for us! The techs attitude and demeanor was also horrible the whole time..guess we interrupted his Saturday plan!!

I called about water leaking into the water pan and overflowing. They first told me that they were booked for the day and would be the following day. Then Katlin called me back and told me that someone would be out the same day. Shane was prompt and quickly resolved the issue. It was a clogged drain pipe. If there’s one thing I can tell you is that, ”Nothing is perfect”, but when you have to call for service, it’s nice to know that you’ll be treated fairly by the knowledgeable and courteous staff at Edwards Heating and Air. From the moment I made the call, to the time the Tech packed up his tools, everyone did what they said they were going to do. I was given a morning time slot, the Tech gave me a 15 minute courtesy call (I had to drive from my office to my home), then diagnosed and repaired the issue in about an hour. Great Job! Great Job!! These guys are fantastic! Every member of their team I have worked with has been honest, considerate and knowledgeable to a degree I just dont see anymore in most businesses.After noticing my system wasnt cooling the house the way it should, and checking the usual suspects, I gave Edwards a call. James came out and assessed that I had a Freon leak due to a system that, after functioning for 50 years, is on its last legs. I was skeptical, but he took the time to go through the specifics of my system, about its age (original to the house), how its leaking Freon and that trying to replace/repair anything may end up causing more problems due to the systems delicate balance of operation. James offered me a few options, and I tried re-charging the Freon, which he advised may not solve my problem.After a few days, I learned he was right: the house wasnt able to keep cool consistently. So I called Edwards about biting the bullet and buying an entirely new system. Tim came out and went through things in even greater detail, pointing out major issues like mold developing in the Humidifier, numerous code violations, and even pointed to a lot of small issues that could cause me much larger problems down the road. He got me a really reasonable quote on an entirely new system, which I signed off on.Two days later, Jessie and Cody came out and installed the new system and took the time to really do the job right. They ripped out my old system, installed the new one and even gave me some advice and suggestions to help deal with some problems I was dealing with that were totally unrelated to my HVAC situation! It took them about a day to get everything done, but now my new system is up and running great!Im really happy with everything Edwards has helped me with, from the quality service, to the recommendations, the reasonable pricing, their professional quality of work, and, most of all, for their honesty, and their genuine care for what they do. This was our 3rd attempt at fixing our heating issue (the 2 prior from another company) and Im so happy to have heat again! The gentleman was very polite and considerate enough to be quiet as my son was still asleep this morning. I told the dispatcher I had to leave for work at a certain time and they made sure we were the first call today. I highly recommend Edwards. My only regret is that I dont remember our techs name and cant give him proper recognition!

No surprises - great work!Our AC unit was out due to low refrigerant and ice buildup. Called Edwards H&A and spoke to their service after hours on Friday. Dewayne called me back immediately and provided insights to minimize damage overnight as my system thawed. He called and was there before 10AM on Saturday - just as promised. He quickly discovered the issue, fixed it and checked all other system areas. He reviewed the age of our system and discussed our warranty - which we were able to confirm while he was here. After being ripped off by service techs for a few years and having been shown I did need to replace my AC compressor, I did some work. Decided on the general equipment I wanted. Got a total of 6 bids - 3 each for Trane and Carrier. Chose Edwards - I liked their open, straight forward sales approach. Their price was good also. The installation was excellent. I happen to live in a development with 54 houses all built at the same time. I am aware of about 15 Edwards units in our development and I have not heard a single complaint. A record like that can only get worse.

David Hosemann came out today and did the initial maintenance inspection. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. Previous to Edwards, I had another major vendor in this field servicing my equipment, and while not having any significant issues, I never had the confidence that I now have in Edwards and specifically David. Edwards Heating & Air is an honest, competent, and friendly company--you can trust them to help you make the best financial decisions. Unlike many other heating/air companies, they have never tried to sell us parts/services we dont need. Six years ago another company told us we needed a new furnace. We decided not to do it. Six months later, the serviceman from Edwards said although the furnace was old, it was in good shape. Shane was just here today, and after 6 years it is still working fine! Its not easy to find a company you can trust--we have previously worked with three that you couldnt trust!

They were the original installers of the HVAC in my new home and I signed up for service contract to upkeep the system. My contract ended on 4/23/20 and due to the COVID 19 situation I requested my last service due on or by 4/23 be rescheduled to 5/5 which they agreed but showed up at the door and wanted me to pay for the service or renew my contract. Extremely unprofessional an lack of ethics.

I have been a long time client of Edwards Heating & Air and have been very satisfied with their service and professionalism. They have extended the life of my existing HVAC units with the twice a year inspections. Edwards installed a new unit on my main level a couple of years ago and installed a dual zone for the master bedroom. The system has saved us a good deal of money and improved the temperature control in the master, which is on the main level. Great folks to work with.Mark Nelson

Had two ACs go out at the same time. Needed help ASAP on a Sunday evening. Even though techs were booked for the day, Dan called me and walked me through some troubleshooting. He was able to narrow down the problem over the phone and told me how to fix it myself for less than ten bucks! Extremely friendly and honestly helpful. Cannot recommend enough.

I woke up this morning to a house that was 67 degrees, with temperatures outside at 34 degrees. My furnace was blowing out cold air. Edwards Heating & Air came out the same day and fix my furnace. Kim called me to inform me that they can get out this morning. Eric, the technician, showed up on time and was VERY professional, respectful, and friendly. Excellent Customer Service! Great Job!

Edwards won the bid with not only a fair price but personal customer service being the priority. From removal, install, inspections, scheduling, and a super nice staff on all levels. They even did a service call on a Sunday. I had a new system installed last summer. It was nearly 100 degrees that day and the technicians stayed until everything was running properly (almost 13 hours) and did it with the utmost professionalism! I also have routine maintenance done and again complete and professional. I would highly recommend Edwards for all your Heating and Air needs!

Hired Edwards Heating & Air for annual maintenance. James came out to evaluate our systems and was able to pinpoint a leak in one of our systems coils. James was incredibly knowledgeable, was able to address all of my questions, and thoroughly described our options. I am pleased and would definitely recommend!

My rental tenant emailed me stating the AC was not getting below 78 degrees. I emailed multiple HVAC companies and the only one who contacted me was Edwards. I have used Edwards heating and air on numerous accounts and have been overly satisfied with their timely efficient service. Ive had air and heat problems in the past and when I call them Ive gotten same or next day service (extremely prompt) and they fixed my problems on the spot with polite technichians even installed a new unit complete in a couple of hour and they were very reasonably priced and for the quality of work and service to make my house comfy I would say they are more than reasonable they were very cheap I will continue using them any time I need heat or air service forever.Satisfied customerBrad Schwartz

Edwards replaced both my units on a very hot August in 2013. Their professionalism and explanation of everything they did was appreciated. My units went out, I had company and I had a cast on my foot. Edwards brought over a room air conditioner and started the work the next day! Great company :)

James, one of their service techs, was very helpful, explanatory, and accommodating. He worked quickly and efficiently and went out of his way to identify and fix a gas problem with one of our units.This level of service is no exception; these guys are always good at what they do.
