Mac, the owner is a sweetheart And does a sleek and wonderful job. Hes taken great steps to ensure cleanliness and professionalism and is best at making you feel and look your best.

I have been coming here since I moved to Groton in 2014. I must commend Mac and Kear on their professionalism, expertise, timeliness and great work. What pleases me most about this nail salon is how CLEAN it is. I am a health professional and went back to finally get my nails done after 6 months.The salon is immaculate. Mac and Kear are consistent with sanitizing and spreading appointments out. There are clear barriers between the client and technician and all persons must wear masks. I feel safe getting my nails done here and recommend it especially if you want a safe place to go that takes COVID precautions seriously.

Excellent service! Mack was very patient as I couldnt decide what color or design I wanted. I am so glad that after the accident they opened again! I would definitely recommend this place and of course I will continue doing my nails here. Also I was surprised by the prices very affordable ☺️

I have very mixed feelings on this place. Its a nice little shop thats clean and cute. The owner Mac and his employees are super friendly and professional, everyone else there was obviously a regular customer. They used new sanitized equipment for my mani and they were quick- I was in and out in 45 minutes and that included a gel polish change. Oh, and it was $15. For a gel polish change and new gel manicure. You really cant beat that anywhere. For all of that they deserve 5 stars.The downside is my manicure was really not good. I wont go so far as to say its the WORST manicure Ive ever had but definitely bottom 5. The technician did a terrible job prepping my nails, he spent maybe 5 minutes getting the polish off and thats it. Didnt cut my nails, ask how I wanted them shaped, didnt cut my cuticles or clean around the nails. He also didnt paint the edge of the nail or clean the extra polish off the sides well. So the tips of my manicure look jagged and the polish doesnt look evenly applied because of my cuticles. For $15 I cant complain too much, I still might even go back but I wouldnt go there for any special event. Im not sure if the technician I had was new, Im guessing based on all the positive reviews Mac himself does a much better job. I could have asked them to fix it and Im sure they would have but I didnt have any more time. So would I go again? Yes but I wouldnt have very high expectations.

Ive been going to Mack for 10 plus years!!! As well I travel to see him!! That alone speaks volumes!! I like quality and I also like a great price I get both each and every time!! I enjoy my time even if he is busy we all value our time n money! I believe he does too ;) rightly so!!!

I drive very far out of my way for Mac to do my nails because he always does such a wonderful job. I try other salons near my house, and they are never as good. This place is worth the trip.

Every two weeks I look forward to my nail appointment with Mac to get my acrylic refills. Acton Nail Design has a large variety of colors for both normal and gel polishes. The studio is clean and staff are extremely friendly.

No Star Awarded. I had to click on at least ONE star for this to post.I went for a Manicure with French Tip. As he was filing my nails, there was no shape to it. I dont know whether he was trying to form it as a square or oval shape. The corners of my nails were filed slightly. My cuticles were not cut well. Also, the lining for the white tip was not smooth. The paint brush was not smooth, so of course the white tip was rigid.Went back to work after this service and washed my hands. What happens ..... the polish chipped off. Would I make a trip back for them to fix it? .... NOPE! Dont want to waste my time going there.Just very dissatisfied about this service. I always get a French Tip done elsewhere and it would come out nice, but not from here. Thought Id stop by at this location since it was convenient near my work.... guess convenience doesnt overule quality of the service done.

The reason I go there sometimes is because they are open Sundays. Once they cut my cutile so bad it took me 2 weeks to heal. Next time i went there for gel and morning my gel manucire was chipped. i called them and went there to fix it but i had never had this problem before with anywhere. Went there two times and had issues. i am not sure if i will visit there again.

Clean, professional and friendly. Really, outside of a good job on the nails themselves, what could you ask for?
