Hong is the owner and the BEST. Hes professional, kind and delivers on every account when you need a coat, shirt, comforter, by a certain date. I wouldnt recommend anyone else in the area. He takes his business seriously and appreciates his customers. Ive ben taking my dry cleaning to him for years. PERFECTION.

I took ALL of my winter coats to Colonial Valet (while they were offering a discount), and they turned out beautiful! In the future, I plan to have a vintage lamb’s wool coat COMPLETELY re-lined. I HIGHLY recommend this business for ALL your dry cleaning AND alterations!

The tailor here is a magician with needles. Theres absolutely nothing he cannot do (including completely restructuring a blazer). He has a keen eye for fashion and retains impeccable tailoring skills. But most importantly, he brings industriousness. Ive had other tailors tell me yeah I guess thats possible, but that seems too hard, and I dont want to do it. But the current tailor (in Korean, hes referred to as Jipsanim which is an honorific meaning a deacon of a church which he is) deems more challenging work as enjoyable. Serendipitously the town of Acton somehow stumbled onto a master tailor. Ive taken something like 30 items to him for tailoring so far (OK I know Im OCD).

Years ago I read an article in Vogue about a master cleaner in New York City that could remove the toughest of stains from clothing. We now have such a cleaner in Acton. I have gone to Colonial Valet for over twenty years. Two to three years ago the business was purchased by Hong Lee. I immediately noticed a change. For the first time, a silk and linen Valentino jacket came back with its initial sizing and sheen. When I learned he could remove tough stains I brought him two blouses with set in stains that no one had been able to remove. He asked for a little extra time to clean them and I asked for no guarantees but they came back like new. He still does my pleated skirts. At my request he nets my clothes so they won’t get snagged in the cleaning and takes extra care with my antique buttons. If you love clothes and live nearby you shouldn’t consider any other cleaner. Before you throw out that treasured garment that has been ruined for good you should see if Hong Lee can work his magic. Talk to him directly if you need something special.

Wonderful staff, expert tailor, and somehow, they get stains out that others could not. They are also open for 12 hours every day during the week. I found my new dry cleaners!!!

I had been taking my shirts for almost a year and they were ok. When I found one of the sleeves of a Hackett shirt came back torn, I asked the manager about it and he said it was old and the material was worn out. It is true it wasn’t new, but where it was ripped wasn’t on the elbows or any other area that could get more worn, it was in an area whereby the material was totally fine. He loses a weekly client, didn’t even return the money he charged for ripping it. Really bad customer service!
