On 4/8/2015 I purchased a driver seat out of a Ford Focus 2007. I had driven from Houston to Abilene to assist my granddaughter in this purchase. We visited another junkyard and was treated indifferently by being told to drive into the lot and find one ourselves. When we finally found the car there the driver seat was already taken out and they only had one. At Mikes we were met with a much different attitude. The lady at the desk was very friendly, professional and seemed to really care. She could not have been more helpful. She researched their stock and found they had 3 cars there to look at. She called a man who took my granddaughter to the cars to view what they had to offer. We ended up getting one that was identical to what was needed. We picked it up the next day 4/8/15 and was on our way to getting it installed. What a wonderful experience and what a contrast from the first place visited. This was my first visit to a wrecking place and I really appreciated the courtesy Mikes Wrecking extended to me and my granddaughter. It is nice to have such caring people when you are in a stressful environment.

Friendly customer service

Bought a transmission from them not long ago and my mechanic installed incorrectly. Mike went above and beyond by helping me figure out what he did wrong and even allowed me to take it to them to fix the problem instead of swapping it for another transmission. I’ve used him for years and will continue to do so.

I give this place 5 stars for used parts. They even carry auto parts that are no longer in the market. The price is affordable and the customer service is very friendly. Also, if you dont find the part needed, they can help you order parts. Time for parts ordered is great. They contact you when the part is available. Finally, if the part ordered does not fit, return is easy. So in one word: got to Mikes Wrecking to get the parts you need. Like an organ donor, Mike is a savior for Abilene and surroundings. Used parts save people money. I love it and will recommand it to all Abileneans.

Amazon sells them for $17.89 Jesus business wise is there really an explanation for overpricing used parts on a 15 year old car?? Never been there but I rated three stars due to the fact the lady agreed with me.... Well then whats the problem...

They didnt have but one rim that would on the whole yard and they wanted to charge me 75.00 for it and a used tire. Crappy customer service skills.
