Really need to have an appointment to be seen. We were referred last minute so, we just went in and got paperwork from the receptionist. Be prepared! They want any and all information you can provide!OUR landlord works with this office to help her renters be able to stay in their residence.I had to take a temporary leave of absence for 6 weeks due to husbands surgery to take care of him.. so, thats 1/2 our pay.Covering our rent payments till we both get back to work.

I am very pleased with all the help and assistance Ive received from everyone Ive had contact with.everyone treated me with the up most respect.and was very helpful in getting me the help I was needing.i was greatly informed of all information and made aware of all I was eligible for.we need more community workers like everyone at CCAP.THANK YOU ALL!!!!

They set it up to be able to have no contact with the worker and yet still feel as though it is a personable experience. The employee helping me was kind and helpful. I was treated with respect and got an appointment in less than 24 hours after contacting for one via on line website. They are truly a blessing on our community.

My care coordinator Stacey is very helpful and friendly she keeps me up to date on the newest program like the farmer market where they toke my EBT card and when I purchased any vegetables it was like as if I got paid back for my purchase. Coastal Community Action Program is an amazing place they helped me and many others get off the streets as well as with even taking me shopping for a bed and essential needs for my apartment. As well as my utilities I am very thankful for my Care Coordinator Stacey and Coastal Community Action Program if it wasnt for them I dont know where I would be today. Coastal Community Aberdeen is the worst to work with! I have been (or try) to communicate with this company for over a month. They don’t return phone calls and even upper management doesn’t return calls. I finally put a call in to the CEO and am waiting… I brought my brother down to Az and am now his payee. Coastal said they sent a check to my brother (at his old address) and 24 days later he has still not received it. They also said they sent some to Social Security but they haven’t received it either? Where is his money?? Between Kaitlin and John nothing has happened, I’m hoping Craig will step up and hold someone accountable for this “lack of action”!!Beware of using this program!!

An EXCELLENT resource hub for low/no-income individuals. Also provides help with utilities, rent through the HEN program, weatherization for homes, and even job listings and job hunting.

People are super nice, understanding and amazingly helpful..especially the woman who did my coordinated entry, Dawn...you rock Dawn!!

Very helpfull Ive had my rent covered since I started my long fight to get disability benefits its been almost 5 years now & Im still fighting, but because of the henn program Im not homeless.

Just 3 months ago I was drowning in hopelessness and everything required to further progress for me and my 2 babies seemed completely unattainable. But as if today I am working 25hrs/week, my children in daycare, I finally got my drivers license at age 35 and also savings account with an amount of money I am proud of. My CAAP worker goes above in beyond to Keep furthering me along and has been more encouraging understanding sympathetic relentless than I could of ever expected. Today I can happily say I am giggling with my babies in good health and full of hope. ccap is to thanks for that

Probably a $million dollars in fines for Hippa violations floating around this places staff since they dont provide work phones to their staff and they have to have client info stored in personal phones and each stored client contact in a personal phone is subject to a $10000 fine for the employee and $20000 for the company..

Getting help with housing, they have been amazing.

Website offers great information and hope that there are still people who care.

All they do is bring you pamphlets, youre on your own to get help. If youre ill you still wont get help, just pamphlets. One of the things I needed was meals on wheels, the agency listed in the pamphlet never called me back after leaving 4 messages. Finally got a caregiver and she knew to call the senior center. The case mangers in Pierce County are much more helpful then they are at this agency

Love this place!

Its a great place for information on places that maybe useful to low income persons or families. Like where to find the neighborhood food banks and on which days, or where someone that might be homeless is in need of a free meal with times and locations.

The most wonderful people in the world work here. One time my power was shut off because my employer was having money problems and couldnt pay me. CCAP treated me with dignity and respect and helped me to get my power turned back on. The weather was literally freezing and I was so cold. I will never be able to thank these amazing people enough. Thank you CCAP for everything you do for our community, you are all the best and I am so grateful for everything you do!

Ccaps has been beneficial to me in many ways such as heat assistance, rides to medical appointments and in telling me about other resources. I am grateful for their kindness and expertise.

Friendly people, they want to help But dont have many opitions. They werent able to help me. But if your on drugs and have felonies you probably have better luck then me. That makes you priority.

Interesting place with so many people there to assist the needy. Had a wonderful and informative tour of the facility.
