Being from Aberdeen I occasionally would see an article or obit that I would like to read. The American news does not let you read any articles without a subscription. Other news papers like the argus leader, Fargo forum, or Bismarck tribune allow you to either read a certain number of articles a month or read as many as you want. They are smart enough to know that they are going to make their money on the advertising done on their site.... not by trying to force someone to sign up to their site. Not worth it.

Had a pick up. Got loaded in less than two hours

They consistently get facts wrong. Theyll have biased front page articles and when they post wrong information on a main article they will post a tiny correction in a small paragraph. Most people skim by these small corrections and are then miss informed. By far one of they worst papers Ive read.

I have become more and more disappointed with the quality and content of the American News. They keep looking for ways to charge more and get more money out of their customers, but the content keeps getting worse and worse. Ever since they went to needing a subscription to see onl9ne articles, their quality has decreased.

I had a great tour of the offices and mailroom! It was very impressive to see the news in action.

Just started a new subscription with the AAN, and couldnt be more displeased. I have the Sunday Print/Digital subscription, and over the course of 5 weeks have physically received 1 of the Sunday Print Editions. (20% delivery rate), and the one received was delivered after 12:00 (noon on Sunday).I called and spoke to a representative after I hadnt been receiving the paper to see what was going on. The representative assured me that they would speak with the distribution department and get this corrected. The next week came, and no paper again!Perhaps the old billboard, judge Aberdeen by its people, and not by its newspaper is appropriate!Sincerely,Non-Happy Subscriber

By far the most horrible paper. Awful writers and the editor has no common sense. To much inbreeding if you ask me.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE TO PLACE A SIMPLE AD & THERES NOTHING IN THE PAPER ANYMORE WORTH BUYING A SUBSCRIPTION FOR.

Paying for the e-edition and Sunday home delivery. Cannot get the e-edition today! According to them I dont have a subscription to it.

They always get me loaded

The Amercian News, unlike most newspapers, will not let you read articles without a subscription. Most major newspapers dont do this, nor other small town papers. Not worth the money to pay for online subscription.

They dont pay their employees or the delivery people very well

Get the local news from a quality paper.

Their paper is getting smaller.
